We're probably going to go with The Chelsea At Toms River because we're going to have to get my mother-in-law Medicaid. We did a visit and they were wonderful. What I like most is that I saw the seniors that were living there, they're all active. They were all doing something and they were very friendly, they were very talkative, and they allowed me to ask questions to the people that live there. We took a tour and it was a very good tour. They showed us everything and they were able to answer all my questions and I think it's a beautiful place. I think the activities they have there are incredible. No one can ever say that they're bored, there's something to do all day long, so I was very happy to hear that. It's assisted living and they also have a memory ward as well. The rooms were nice. They said that their maintenance staff could put up everything that she needed in her room, and we didn't have to worry about that because they would take care of everything. So that is an added plus. The staff was outstanding. They gave us a little care package to go, they were fresh homemade scones, and they were the best scones my husband and I ever had. They were so delicious, they were nice and warm out of the oven. They had an activities room, they had a movie theater, they had live entertainment on Fridays, they had a book club, they had a knitting club, and they had a cooking class. They had everything.

I toured The Chelsea at Toms River. They had a lot of activities, and there is a mixture of age groups. The staff seemed to be friendly. It was clean; I thought it was nice. They had someone playing music in one room. They had coffee and little snacks for them out; it was their happy hour. There was bingo going on in one room, and then in another room they were eating.
I believe laundry was included. It's a pretty big facility compared to the other ones. I think it was originally supposed to be a hotel, and then the building turned into an assisted living facility. It's one of the bigger assisted living facilities that we visited, which has its pros and cons.

The Chelsea at Toms River looked very nice. It seemed like they had a lot of activities. The staff was very nice, helpful, and informative. We saw a room there, but not in the memory care unit. They would only let us in limited access because of COVID. It was nicely decorated. She explained what they do. They were having a CPR class that day. The activities in a lot of these facilities have been put on hold, and they're not using their dining area because of COVID. The facility seemed pleasant and clean and had a nice surrounding. They have a regular and a memory care unit, but we were not able to see the memory care unit because of COVID.

I loved The Chelsea At Toms River, but it's too expensive. Everything was good, and the layout was beautiful. The person who toured me around was really good. They had all kinds of activities like bingo, games, movies, and cocktail hours.

The people at The Chelsea in Toms River helped us get through a difficult time and find a needed rehab facility for my mom after a hospital stay. We were impressed by the facility but will not be using at this time. We have decided to move my parents so that they are closer to us (which is an hour and a half away from this facility). I would like to thank The Chelsea (particularly Angela) for helping us in a time of need.

We went to see The Chelsea at Tom River, which had an H-shaped building with studio apartments. It had a kitchen but not really a full kitchen. The room was pretty small. For amenities, they had a dining area that served the residents and several rooms with different games, like one with pool tables. They also had a gym.

They love it there at The Chelsea at Toms River. They said they feel like they are living in a hotel. It is on Silverton Road, and they love it. I would describe it as beautiful, very warm, caring, and friendly. A lot of their residents are out of their rooms and busy in activities. There is a lot of socialization. My sister and her husband love the staff too. They are very professional.
