I went to Harmony Village at CareOne Jackson Memory Care Assisted Living. They have memory care. It's hard to tell in an hour, but they certainly devoted a lot of time to me and answered any questions I had. They have beautiful courtyards. I was impressed because it's not a new place, but it was very well-kept, and the outside was very pretty. I think they do arts and crafts, they do movies, and they do some physical type of thing because I was concerned about that. They have physical therapy, too, if you need it. The staff who toured me around was very informative, not pressuring. She said, "Ask me anything," and I did have a list of some questions that I had been given to ask. I thought they were very good. They didn't pressure you. They were very courteous, very nice, and very caring. I was pleased with the tour. They were very empathetic. The place is laid out well. They had seating areas, which were very comfortable-looking and very homey-looking. It would be conducive to taking your loved one and sitting and talking with them, so I was impressed by that.

So far, Harmony Village at CareOne Jackson Memory Care Assisted Living has been very good. The rooms are excellent. The resident, my friend, has to be on a puree diet and they make all the food look like it's real again. It's been a very positive experience. She is in their memory care. They have little concerts and entertainment, they have card games, they play bingo and they have quite a few other activities.

Harmony Lodge was very nice, and I would have put my aunt in there except we found a place closer to me. I liked this place, I liked the staff and the layout. When I was down there I was very impressed, except for the distance from where I live. The person who assisted us there was very friendly and she followed through. They were very prompt in sending out a nurse to see if my aunt was qualified for their community. I was impressed with their services and with the new facilities and how it was arranged. They have the same kind of setup as my aunt's current community, where they would eat as a group. I liked their facilities and layout.
