DO NOT TAKE ANYONE here if they are loved one. If you are trying to subject them to poor service, dirty dingy outdated very poorly cared for facility this is the place. Don't be fooled by the first conversation where they seem very nice organized and accommodating. You are left in the dark with zero info and when you get it is incorrect. We were told at discharge scripts would be called in to Walgreens in Pburg which I questioned and was assured there was one. 2 days later we have not received the call re meds and now have run around that it was called in to Clinton when I live no where near there. DO NOT SEND ANYONE THERE

The rooms are very small, with a foot or two in between the bed of roommate. One nurse's aide is very nice and shows compassion for my loved one. The fact that I can site kindness in only one employee reflects the sad environment here. My family and I need to request a shower and shampoo for our loved one, and feel lucky when that request is fulfilled once a week. When my relative needs help from staff it takes hours for a response.
I can't recommend this facility and wish the family had resources to move her elsewhere.
my advice, stay away.

HORRIBLE FACILITY!! My husband was there for what I thought was rehab and when he returned home, had the most horrendous bed sores that I was never informed about!! He had also lost much weight, probably due to the staff not having any patience to try and feed him! Plus, the staff knew that family members where not allowed in so what did they care? I work for a well-known doctor in the area and when patients ask me about the facility, I tell them about my experience and advise them to look into other facilities!! Do not send your loved ones here--no wonder they are always looking for help!!

Food is fair to poor. Long term staff are great. Weekend staff changes constantly and dont really care about residents. Residents aren't changed often enough and personal items like teeth, glasses, and hearing aids go missing and no one seems to know anything about it.

This place is horrible, understaffed, dirty and most of the time very smelly. Nurses were nice but couldn't keep up with the patients needs. Very depressing as it was in the basement. My Mom was there for two days and I moved her out! If your loved one goes there be prepared to bring your own tiolet paper, soap and tissues because they don't have any supplies!

The bottom floor of this facility was filthy-the floors never cleaned, the sinks disgusting, beds falling apart, food trays filthy, linens old and air quality smelly most days. The physical therapy department was very unprofessional. The nurses were friendly, but did not provide quality care. Do not recommend.

What's nice about Lopatcong Center is that there is no odor. They keep it very clean. It is a nice center. I think the staff there is taking good care of my wife. I absolutely recommend this facility. They tend to lose things, but still it is a very nice place.

I would rate this center to be about average. Staff was nice enough but did not seem to go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I needed to ask a lot of questions in order to get straight answers. Physical therapy depart had a nice staff, but I didn't see or hear much encouragement for my grandmother to continue to do better for herself. I was told that if my grandmother were to stay there long term it would not be a place she would be happy in. Most patients that are there are there for long term care. If this is the case then it should not be listed as an assisted living facility. The facility should do more to make to keep their residence more active and do something to give their facility more of a home feeling for long term care. I just feel it was more of a hospital than a nursing "home".
