My mother was at Golden View Health Care Center for hospice care. The nurses called me every day. They took great care of her. The reverend went and checked on her every couple of days. I have nothing but great things to say about the place. The staff was very good, very kind, super polite, and they let me know what was going on every day, so I was happy about that. Her room was nice. They had music playing every day for her. They had a TV in there and everything. It was a nice little room. When I was there, it was nice and clean. I was impressed. I know they had a whole list of activities, but I didn't really pay attention to them. I thought it was very reasonable.

Golden View Health Care Center was very quiet and there was not a lot of life. I wouldn't put a parent there that was needing a lot of interaction or stimulation. There was no socialization. It was very desolate. The rooms were comfortable, kind of like hotel rooms. They're clean, but a little bit outdated. They have private rooms. Everybody was very friendly and helped to answer any questions I had. They could have more interaction and more activities for the seniors to do or maybe it was just the time that I went. They could use some updating for sure. They have a nail and hair salon.

I toured Golden View Health Care Center for my parents. It was very good, but they just don't have any openings. They were very nice and very helpful. They gave us a tour of the establishment and went over things. It was a great possibility, and they're on a waiting list.
They had said it would be best if they went into the nursing home, rather than assisted living.
The place was very nice and very good. The staff were very, very pleasant and very helpful. We visited the dining area, but we did not try the food. It was very nice.
I would recommend it. They seemed to be very compassionate. It's just difficult because they only have one or two double rooms, which is what we were looking for (not a single).

I visited a friend of mine at Golden View, and I would rate it first class. I've never seen anything wrong with it. The first time I visited, I was very pleased with it. They were very friendly, very cooperative, and very helpful. She did a lot of exercises there. It's very convenient, very attractive, and kept very clean.

My aunt is in Golden View for rehab. It is very nice. The room is very clean. She has a single room. They brought in a wheelchair for her, and they brought in a table for her to do jigsaw puzzles. She has PT and OT every day of the week. It is a good place. The OT and PT people are very good. They have choices of where they can go to eat, and if they want to, they can opt to have their food in their room. The food is very good. My aunt has been very happy with it. The place is beautiful.

Very good care for my husband who broke his hip and had limited mobility after surgery.. He felt safe and comfortable. Physical therapy for several hours a day and they monitored his vital signs. Friendly and caring staff. Recommended.

From the front office, nurses, LNAs, PT & OT everything was far beyond my expectations. Thanks to everyone at rehab!

I can definitely credit the PT department's knowledge and positive attitude for my accelerated progress after I broke my hip and needed rehab. The nursing staff is also exceptional and always had a positive attitude.

My mom is a resident in their assisted living and she loves it. That makes our family feel good about the decision. They have so many programs for her to attend (music, bingo, art, church). The care staff are wonderful. WE love that the doctors can she her on-site too.

My mom was a patient here for over a month after a stay in the hospital. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They made sure to keep me updated on how mom was doing and answered all my questions. Mom said she was happy to go home but that she'd miss all the friends she made. Would definitely recommend to friends who need rehab!

This is not a five star nursing home. It smells of urine and feces in some of the rooms. They are unorganized and the staff does not do what they say they will do. I can not believe that they can not clean the facility enough so the poor elderly are kept in their rooms like a jail cell. My friends mom is there not by choice and I can not believe half the things she has told me. If you have a loved one do not put them in this false front of a nursing home that only cares about the paying customer.

My father-in-law was not happy at Golden View Health Care Center. We were not particularly happy there either. Everyone looks fine, but the atmosphere was depressing. They were not as personable, and it has been a completely different experience compared to the facility he is in right now. I do not want to say they were horrible because they were fine, but we would not choose to have him go back there. The rooms were nice. They seemed pretty spacious and were set up really well. The place from the inside was really clean and modern.
