I can not say enough good words to fully describe the outstanding care and service the staff at Saunders House provided for my Dad while he was a resident there. Everyone I was in contact with, the Manager, nurse, medical aids, cleaning aids, cooks and other assistants cared for my Dad as if he was a family member of their own. It was a great peace of mind to have him in their care as he was definitely at home away from home. The facility is very attractive, clean and welcoming, but again, what makes Saunders House special is the people.

I visited Saunders House. We liked the layout because it was built around a courtyard. The rooms were very nice. The person who took us on a tour was very nice, too. However, they had room avaliable for 30 residents but only had 17, which was a red flag for us. We couldn't pinpoint why they weren't full because it seemed like a very nice place, the people were friendly, and they seemed to have quite a few activities. The dining area was fine, too. They had craft and fitness rooms and a lot of things to do there. The staff seemed fine and very friendly.

I liked that Saunders House was small. They had exercises, a library, and a nice, big front porch that the residents could sit out on. It was nice; it was just too far away from where I live. The demographic was a little bit different. It's a rural community versus a big city, where we live. Other than that, the gal that we talked to was very nice, and she did follow up a couple of times.
