Immanuel Lakeside Village was very nice, but I prefer a smaller place. The apartment that I could have would be on the second floor and I prefer the first floor. They have a library, a chapel, community rooms, their own dining area, a restaurant, and an activity room. The one staff member I met was very cordial and nice. The rooms have a refrigerator and a microwave.

Lakeside Village was wonderful and has everything my parents needed. They did not have an immediate opening. There was a short two or three month wait. The only thing we didn't care about was they wanted us to invest a large sum of money upfront which would eventually be returned when they either pass away or they move. We didn’t like that. But the facility itself was beautiful, the people were wonderful, and the rooms were very nice too. They had everything that other places had. There was also the opportunity to move from independent living to assisted living and then to the memory unit all in the same facility. We just don’t like that it’s a buy-in.

I found a good place at Lakeside Village. Overall, I have to say everything is very good. The building is quite new compared to others. The staff is very caring, and the food is wonderful. The only problem is they serve portions that are so big that I can’t lose weight, but I’m working on it.
They have a lot of different things for people to do. They have different card clubs and movies.
The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, and the people are wonderful. In 3 months, I’ve come to know a lot of people and see them often. Everybody cares about everybody else, and that’s a wonderful situation.

I really liked Immanuel Lakeside Village because they had both independent living and assisted living facilities. I thought that there would be more activities and socialization because it had both. The staff were excellent. I tried the food and it was great and they had a beautiful dining room as well. The activities were shopping, bingo, cards, movies, crafts, women's lunch, speakers, a scheduled place they would go. They also had a good bus system that my mom could use to go on errands and a nice wellness facility. I would recommend this place.
