We chose Hillcrest Mable Rose for my mother because, from the different research I did, it's one of the best out there, and it's only gonna be a little over five miles from me, so I'll be close by. I highly recommend it to everyone. They have the memory care there too, so as she gets worse with her Alzheimer's, she won't have to go to a different place. I felt that they were very kind and considerate when I met them. They really care about Mom, and the administrator says that my mom is a great fit there, too. They provide three homemade meals a day, and they have activities. Everything is included in the price, whereas a lot of other places that stuff was extra. They're very kind, considerate, and loving to everybody, and to me, for my mom to get the care that she needs means a lot. I feel that that's one of the best places there in that area.

IT IS NOT MABLE ROSE ANYMORE. Since Hillcrest bought them out it has been downhill all the way. My Mom has been there for 5 grueling years. complained about her a/c not working for all of them. always being assured that it was fixed. it wasn't. they go on about how wonderful my mom is. she isn't. she is a cranky and difficult so I suppose she should have her stuff taken from her to give to the nicer old people. you would think something as simple as a regular podiatrist visit would be doable. no they expected my Mom to show up in a certain room at a certain time and if she missed her apt it was her fault. she has dementia if she could handle that she wouldn't be there. She has fallen many many times. I ask where her cane and walker are and they scramble to other rooms searching for the expensive medical supplies I have provided for her. Not for them to hand out as they see fit. one and the 250.00 walker have not been replaced. they gave her a cheap crappy walker and thought I should be ok with that. I was also told by Lisa the administrator that if I moved my mom to the memory support side there would be no more out of pocket expense, another lie. they just wanted her room and for her to pay 2,000 more a month for nothing. the memory support side is like a military camp. and the residents appear scared to move. I would not recommend this place to anyone who loves their loved one. it has been a extremely stressful experience and if my Mom wasn't so close to the end. I would take her someplace else. I loved it there when it was Mable Rose since Hillcrest stepped in is when the nightmare began. Please run run like the wind and find someplace else. I give them no stars. typical that I was forced to give them 1 or could not submit.

Terrible experience. My mother has dementia and when we first signed up we were led to believe that all of her needs would be met at their adult day care. We expressed our concerns about our mother wandering from the facility and her possibly getting aggressive in the future. They assured us that they would be able to handle both situations. During my mothers time there we have had many issues and did not see results. When asked about situations with other members I was not given answers but told it was none of my business. The staff told us how much they loved our mother but weren't really sure what to do with her. They treated her like she was showing these behaviors out of spite instead of a result of her disease. They told us constantly that they were not understaffed but when I spoke to the administrator she said something different. Yesterday my mother walked out of the facility while she was having an episode and no one followed her. They told us it was because she was angry and told them not to follow. When they finally went to find her they couldn't locate her and called my sister saying they weren't sure where she was. Thankfully she was picked up by a family member and we passed that along to the facility staff. Unfortunately my mother has been discharged and staff is not willing to work with us or recommend the next step. Anytime we shared our concerns we were talked over. I was even told I didn't know what it was like when my mother got angry. I live with her so I can assure you I know. I was told that my sisters and I probably weren't triggers so it was different when my mother was with them. They have no idea if my family triggers my mother and I'm appalled that instead of apologizing and helping us with the next steps that they would just make excuses and point fingers. I am saddened that my mother had to go through all of this and I would not wish this on another family. If you need care for a loved one I would look elsewhere.

My mother has friends that are already at Mable Rose Estates, and she is just waiting for an apartment. The staff are very helpful. They seem very caring, and she really likes everyone that works there. There is a variety with what they offer. She loved the food, and the dining room was spacious and comfortable. They have exercises, music, and prayer time. I do think it is secure enough.

Very caring staff. Lots of activities for the residents, and social events to involve the family. My Mother first lived on the Assisted Living side of this location and later moved to the Memory Support side, as her Alzheimer's progressed. It was an easy transition, made easier by the great staff.

Mable Rose is very well-kept, very clean, and the rooms are really nice. The staff is great. It's in a great locality close to all of our family. It's kind of in the boundaries where all the family lives in case we would have to go there. They have a nursing facility that is not too far if their residents should require a nursing home. They provide activities like crafts, take them on field trips, camp cooking, exercises every day, music, it's just very well-rounded facility. They also have day care for adults. They have a nice dining area. They were willing to work with my mom because she has celiac disease, so she's on gluten-free foods.

Marble Rose is an assisted living facility that provides great care for the elders that reside in it. Daily activities are provided and food is always well kept. Staff that work in the home are very well known by all of the elders and are very well liked. The grounds maintain a very nice outside area with a nice kept fountain and garden area. I wish there would be more amenities available, but most of the residents told me that they liked it just the way it is. A couple of residents wished they could have more visitors also but that their friends kept them occupied with card games.
