I was pretty much sold on The Lexington Assisted Living Center. It was a wonderful place and I was really counting on going there. It was just a very nice place, but they wanted so much information and they wanted it within a two week span. I just couldn't get all that information in that amount of time. Also, they wanted a lot of information that I felt was confidential. Aside from that, they had very caring people. The facility looked very clean and very welcoming. They had a courtyard and a gazebo for smoking.

My father is at Lexington right now in a bedroom with a bathroom, living room, and kitchenette, and seems to like it. He says the food is pretty good. They have different activities, like exercises in the mornings. He likes outings, but I don’t know if they have that.

My aunt didn't care for The Lexington, but we liked it, especially the garden area off the dining room. The girl who gave the tour was really good. She did a really good job and made you feel like you really wanted to go there. My aunt thought it was too ritzy for her, but I didn't see that at all. The rooms were very homey and of a good size. The dining room was very nice. I was impressed with the facility. If I would have had to choose a place for myself to go, I probably would have chosen The Lexington. They had all kinds of artsy things to do in an activities room where people can go and do different things. I thought The Lexington was very homey and nice.

The staff was absolutely awesome at The Lexington. They treated us beautifully during the tour. We were there for about an hour and half, walking around and talking with other people there. I did like the tour. We've seen some residents who were all by themselves and in an area where they were playing cards, laughing and joking in front of the fireplace, or watching TV. It was a beautiful atmosphere. However, they do not have exercises which my husband needs. And it would be awesome if they could have a pool or Jacuzzi.
