Often the mental demands of those struggling with Alzheimer's disease can take over the emotional needs. But at Frontier Management, we keep the emotional needs and feelings of your loved one at the very center of what we do.
Our exclusive Meaningful Moments® program is specifically designed to help meet the needs of those Residents with memory loss. We begin by discovering the life story of each individual's likes, dislikes and cherished memories. By adding details and preferences from each Resident's life story into their day, we can build comfort and a sense of meaning for each individual Resident. The result is a familiar atmosphere for your loved one.
Our Residents have access to a whole host of amenities and programming options to help keep them active and engaged in daily life.
There are excursions to restaurants and shopping, arts and crafts classes, movie nights and many chances for family and holiday celebrations. Our Meaningful Moments® program, paired with our active and engaged staff members at Frontier Management, brings together the very best Alzheimer's care.

We toured High Plains Memory Care, and it was fine. The man who gave us the tour was very nice. It just reminded me more of what I would call a nursing home. When we walked in, there were a lot of people just gathered around sleeping in the chairs by the nurse's station. It wasn't a good first impression. They had good built-ins closets for storage. I think it was more of the impression of all of the people gathered. When you open the door, they were right there. It was a kind of a sad impression.

My father will be moving into High Plains Alzheimer's Special Care Center. We had a brief meeting with them, but it seems like it's gonna be a good place. From the outside looking through a window I could see a room and it looked OK. I didn't do a virtual tour. I looked at it on a website and saw pictures. The staff members have been helpful and seem really nice. It's hard to really tell. They've been in contact with me. They said they have activities. They levels one, two and three, and he's going to start at level two. It's all memory care. It's nice from the outside, it's new, and it has a little garden out there with grass and stuff. I like it because it's not too big and not too small. To me, it seems like a good fit. I saw the dining area and the kitchen, and they seemed very nice.

My Father Frank was there. The staff there did a very great job of taking care of him. If anything ever came up they did a great job of meeting his needs and during Covid 19. They allowed the family to see him through his window. Which was great they allowed him to see us. He had a perfect room and all accommodations were meet. There was a courtyard for residents to go outside and walk and enjoy the fresh air and see the neighborhood. The staff called us if anything ever happened with him so we were totally happy. There are plenty of activities to keep residents busy so they don’t just sit around. Like games and crafting stuff. But if my dad didn’t feel up to the activity he could rest in his room or visit with other residents so that was a great deal for him. The meals were great for him and what he wanted. I would recommend others to come here because of the outstanding service and staff they have there and if you called them they would answer all of your questions. In a very professional manner.

This place is an awesome place for your love ones. My mom was very well taken care of. They show compassion. Loving care. They truly understand residents that have dementia and are there to educate the family. They were so caring and loving to my mother. I’ll never forget the excellent care and compassion that my mother received. The facilities are so homey. Great atmosphere for the residents.

The individual who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable. It was clean and it looked great. The rooms were an adequate size and had plenty of daylight as far as windows were concerned. The parking was more than adequate. The facility had nice wide hallways and was well lit.

High Plains Alzheimer's Special Care Center was clean and I liked it. I liked the rooms, but they were smallish. I like that they have a bus that they can take the residents out and that they have crafts. They have nice big showers and bathrooms for residents to take baths.

High Plains (HP) provides superior care. I am a frequent visitor. The facility is lovely, clean and comforting. All staff (Including, but not limited to: nurses, caregivers, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, beautician, administration) are professional, loving and compassionate.

I toured. It was good, and the rooms were nice. I did not see any activities going on.

I liked High Plains Alzheimer's Special Care Center. It was clean and new, and it smelled fine. The layout was nice. There were over 50 beds there. It just seemed too big and too much like a hospital institutional feeling versus a home. The people were friendly, and the rooms were nice-sized.

I didn't like the fact that they had two residents in each room. The facility was clean. The surroundings were very nice. The staff seemed fine. They did have activities. Overall, it was fine, but it just didn't suit my needs. My husband did not need to be in with a roommate.
