We are an Assisted Living and Memory Care Senior Living Community in Lincoln, Nebraska. Adjacent to the beautiful Hillcrest Country Club, AVIVA Woodlands is a vibrant senior living community that offers seniors everything they need to live a carefree life.

AVIVA Woodlands Assisted Living:

We provide residents with the gentle support they need to retain their independence, which includes assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and continuous monitoring of health, behavior, and more, based on personalized care plans.

Memory Care:

VitaVivet (Live Life in Latin) is a new approach that infuses memory care neighborhoods with a vibrant rhythm of life that’s often missing from other cognitive care settings. At AVIVA, residents make meaningful connections through music, dance, art, food, movement and sensory stimulation. Our highly engaged team uses relationship-based care methods centered on your loved ones’ unique needs at every level, honoring their individuality and caring for all their needs.

Room Amenities:

Our bright, modern and well-designed floor plans are stylishly appointed with upscale features and finishes. AVIVA Woodlands apartments are sophisticated yet cozy, designed for safety and comfort, with floor plans available for every level of care. For peace of mind, there is a complimentary daily check-in program. All utilities are paid, including basic cable and free community-wide, public Wi-Fi, and telephone (Personal Wi-Fi and premium cable are available for an additional fee).

Entertainment & Social Activities:

We offer a variety of classes, social gatherings and pursuits to keep our residents brimming with life. Our residents stay active through senior fitness

classes, gathering with friends on the four-seasons porch, attending a musical performance or lecture in our multi-purpose learning center/theatre, and immersing themselves in the beauty of our nature-filled grounds and gardens.

Transportation:

When our residents need to head out, we offer the convenience of transportation services. There are scheduled timings for daily trips for shopping, fun events and outings, or personal appointments, like a doctor’s visit.

My overall experience when I went to visit AVIVA Woodlands was positive. It was clean, it was new and modern. It's a little fancier than I would normally choose. The rooms were very roomy, they're absolutely lovely. Their common areas were airy, bright, very nice, and comfortable. They appear to have several different activities like card games and other games, and a large common room with a big television set. It seemed like they had a lot going on. The staff who gave me the tour was not quite as warm as the other place I toured.

The Woodlands at Hillcrest has been fine so far and the place is very nice. Everybody was very friendly. The accommodations are very nice. My parents-in-law think the food is very good. The place is very pleasant, quiet, and very beautiful. They have a beauty shop and different activities that go on there.

The Woodlands is welcoming and when we enter, we are welcomed with a smile! The community itself is warm and welcoming! The apartments are spacious and we like that my grandma is able to safely get around the community! The staff have provided constant interaction with our grandma, which she has needed to adjust to her new home. Our grandma has always been a picky eater, and she loves the food here! Our family is thankful for the transportation services for outings and appointments so we don’t have to worry about how we are going to safely get her in and out of our vehicles! She loves being able to participate in activities that she loves! The woodlands provides a wide variety of scheduled daily activities! She has expressed more interest in the fitness center activities, which helps her keep the strength to be as independent as she can. We could go on for hours! This community is amazing!!

Caring for your loved one is always hard, and transitioning to a new place at age 92 is a huge tole on you and your loved ones. Upon 1 phone and a 30-minute onsite tour, I know that The Woodlands at Hillcrest was going to be the place for my dad. The facility is amazing, and every staff member at the Hillcrest gives 100 % care for loved ones. They treat you like "Family". As they age they become dependent upon the family, and at some times in life you can not be there 24 hours a day, but knowing that someone is watching them gives peace of mind they are safe and secure. From the fitness center to the wonderful dining facilities and all the daily activities, there are plenty of things to keep them busy.

The Woodlands at Hillcrest was very good. If we have to move my mother that's where we probably would take her. They had several activities that were going on as we walked through, especially in the memory care unit. They have a beauty shop, we saw the dining area, and looked at some of the rooms. I didn't meet any of the other staff members other than the person giving the tour. They also have some courtyard areas.

The Woodlands at Hillcrest was really nice. It was brand new and had lots of rooms available. The place was marvelous, very welcoming, very open, nice, and bright. They had lots of room outside. The rooms that I saw were very comfortable, a nice size, and had space for a couple of chairs. The staff seemed very involved and there seemed to be a lot of them always around for the residents, especially in the memory care unit. Anywhere you see a resident, you would see at least one staff member. They had laundry facilities, salon, spas, and exercise rooms. They had a lot of ways for the residents to still be very active and encouraged them to get involved and stay busy.
