Pathfinder Place was very nice, very clean, very friendly, and homey. They were a 5-star for everything. They have been very good about keeping in contact and putting information together that would be best for my mom. Money-wise, it was definitely an attractive option.

Pathfinder Place was a very nice and beautiful place. It's homey. There was a studio and a 1-bedroom that they showed us, and it was alright. They were very clean, very nicely appointed, had huge closets, and they were nice. They had nice-sized bathrooms too; it's great for his wheelchair. It's assisted living. They have all kinds of activities. They have bingo, cards, movie night, and all kinds of things. On their monthly calendar, they've got like four things planned every day. I was very impressed with all the activities and stuff. The staff said that they get with the community (they call it a community), and they take whatever they're interested in. They ask them what they'd like to see and what they'd like to do, and they integrate that into the things that they do. I thought that was really impressive. They asked the people there what they would like to do, and they got them involved. They've got gardens that they do too. They get a choice of meals. They give them options. They do puzzles and all that, but they also build birdhouses, make cookies, and there's just a lot of different things that they do that keeps them involved and keeps the system going. I thought that was great. We really only met the director and he was great.

I'm a resident of Pathfinder Place. The staff is very helpful and kind. I like it a lot. It's set up all on one level, so I can walk around it. I can get my exercise that way. I have a studio apartment. They have a variety of rooms. I think they actually have two-bedrooms, but the one-bedrooms and studios were what I was interested in. They have a bubble bath, all the rooms have showers in them, and we do exercises every morning as a group. They're very kind. They have a courtyard that we can go out into. It is in the middle of the building. It is all one level like the rest. I'm able to go out there and I can bring my dog. My dog stays with me most of the time. She is out with the residents when I go out. She has been treated very well. I feed her right here in the room with me, and it's all good. Pathfinder Place also does very well with the meals. It's the cheapest I could find, too.
