Immanuel Village offered a gym, transportation to the doctor, a library, and a washer and dryer. The rooms were large and clean. The staff was fine. The rooms had a walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. They had a garden with benches.

We visited Immanuel Village. It was a beautiful facility with beautiful grounds and nice staff and residents. The food was amazing; there was a choice of two meals a day. Everything was laid out very nicely, and the pricing seemed to be reasonable.

We chose Immanuel Terrace because I knew someone who lived there who really liked the facility. When I came to visit, their room sizes were much bigger than the other places that I looked. They also had one fee, and they didn’t have an add on for every little thing that they did.

This facility, offering independent and assisted living with a nursing home nearby"”is located right off a main highway, easy to get to and to see from the street. There are two different parking lots, which is also convenient for visitors. There are 68 rooms available in assisted living. They are like individual apartments with their own kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom; most are private, but about eight units are shared by couples. Each unit is carpeted and freshly repainted every time a new resident moves in. There is nice landscaping and a sitting area outside in the front, which residents seem to use and enjoy"”in addition to a courtyard area in the middle, with a gardening area. There are two doors. At the main entrance, there's a reception area; there is a medication aide station when you first come in the other door. Both are staffed with welcoming and helping staffers. In the common areas, there is a library and activity area with a TV and games. There is also an activities director who sets up weekly outings and other events for residents, in addition to appointments for manicures and massages. There is a main dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which includes a salad bar setting and three-course meal. A dietary staff attends to meals, and choices are offered there daily. The food is of good quality, and fairly tasty and filling. The caregiving staff consists of medications aides, LPNs and nurses. Normally, there are three medication aides on duty during the first two shifts, along with a nurse. The staff to resident ration is good--and the staff members don't seem to be too overworked, even though they have full plates at times. Many caregivers have been on staff for many years. The place has the feeling of being like a big family. The residents let the caregivers know what they need"”and the caregivers are responsive. The staff communication with family members is open, and everyone seems to mesh well. The residents range from young people in their 50s to those 97 and older. So it's a good place for those who need some help, but like to live with a diverse population. I would choose to go there if I needed care, which is a high compliment. The cost is about $3,500 per month, more expensive for private rooms"”which is average for the area.
