I was able to visit The Wellington. The very best thing about it is that they have a lake and a patio towards the lake, so it's a very beautiful view facing south. Now, if you're on the north side of the building, there's not much of a view there at all. But you can still go sit on the patio and see the lake, so that has a very luxurious feeling. The building itself is not that impressive and the cabinetry in the apartments was very, very inexpensive and white. They were very low-end cabinetry. They have a huge dining area and then there were several other common areas upstairs including the library area. The building has more than one level, so it won't be as easy to get to know everyone. They have a capacity of about 80 people, which is nice. Another nice thing about them is you could get a furnished room, and they also have respite rooms. So if you just needed to put someone in for a day or two while the caregiver was getting rest, you could do that. We got some coupons for some free meals, which was kind of nice. And we also like the fact that they have a Veterans' Meal, so they invite all the veterans in the area to come to this visit and have a meal with them for breakfast.

We toured The Wellington for my friend. The community was very good. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The facility was very clean, well kept, and up to date. The rooms were very affordable and nicely laid out. The location was perfect for someone looking for a senior community.

The tour at The Wellington was fantastic. The person who gave the tour was amazing, very knowledgeable, and very upbeat, and it was just a beautiful place. It was very nice and very clean. They have a nice salon, a place for church services, and a garden -- like a back area. It was a nice view. They have a nice dining area.

We visited The Wellington. It was nice, but we just didn't like that it was a bigger facility than the others, and that it had elevators. We thought Mother would get lost. The layout was pretty good, the lady who took us on the tour was very nice, and the rooms were very nice. They were big and the layout was nice. However, there were a lot of stains on the carpet, so we did not think it was clean. It was not as homey, and the residents seemed like they were on their own.

My dad is living at The Wellington and so far we're very happy with it. They take wonderful care of my dad. The food is wonderful and great. The staff is wonderful, really caring and attentive. They have Bingo, movie nights, and different Pinochle tournaments.

My father is a resident of this facility. We are so happy that Dad has a safe and caring place to call home. He loves all of the staff and enjoys the activities and many friends he has that lives at the Wellington. It was the perfect choice for him and the right fit for his life style. We know he is getting the top care and enjoying life to the fullest at the Wellington!
