My mother-in-law has moved into Hampton Manor. It's excellent. The staff is very attentive, and they always call us about any issues. We have no complaints. She eats very well every day. The building is in great condition, very clean, and well taken care of. They had Christmas carols, they did cookie decorating, and they had a Christmas tree and a decorating contest. They have a salon, several activity rooms, a garden outside, and a covered porch. It's very nice. It's a great deal.

My mother was in Hampton Manor. I did not like this place. I just didn't think they were very good to her. My mother suffered from constipation; she was supposed to get medicine for it, and they never gave it to her. She went for over a month and never had a bowel movement, and she died of septic shock from not going to the bathroom. I did not like this place. This was not a very nice place. I don't think they were trained well enough. I just did not like the way they treated my mom. The only person I like in Hampton Manor is Maxine. She was sort of nice to my mom. She was in charge of giving them entertainment. She was the only one that I felt treated my mom like a human being. I did like her.

This facility provides a very welcoming and pleasant environment for all visitors. The majority of the staff is very friendly, as well as helpful. They appear to have compassion for the residents and often develop close relationships/friendships with them. The staff provides the residents with many weekly activities such as: bingo, arts and crafts, and bible study to keep them busy. I loved the fact that the nurses and other staff are comfortable with the residents and treat them as if they're one of their own family members. The facility's appearance has always been neat and clean during each of my visits. I've noticed that Hampton Manor does not have an issue with odor as many people claim to experience with other assisted living communities in the area. The residents are able to feel a sense of freedom or being independent at Hampton Manor as they are able to move around freely, sit outside and enjoy the scenery, or get pampered in the facility's salon. Overall, Hampton Manor is a great assisted living community that cares about their residents and residents' families. Hampton Manor also ensures that their residents receive the proper care, nutrition, and compassion they need.
