Wickshire Creeks Crossing was nice. The only problem there was you would only get a room. It's very small, but they would give you a refrigerator and a little TV. They have a very nice layout where they could sit out on the patio and walk. The staff was very good and very nice.

I went to The Crossings at Wayside. It really looks more like a nursing home, but it's alright. The staff was knowledgeable, and the outdoor area was nice. It was pretty basic, but the upkeep of the yard was nice. I liked the staff, they're good, and nice people.

The Crossings at Wayside was the first place I chose for my uncle. They had a smoking area that was very clean, it was outside, and the smokers could be supervised. The dining area was nice, clean, pretty, and they were making gingerbread houses when I was there. The rooms were really nice, they were decorated by the residents or their family members, and they had shadow boxes for the residents who forget things, or don't know where their rooms are. There were pictures of their families in the shadow boxes, which I really liked. So if they got lost, they would see the shadow box, and they would know that that's where they were supposed to be. I thought that was a very nice touch. They had a calendar of events for the Holiday season, and they took them out to view some holiday lights.

The Crossings at Wayside is very nice and the staff member was very nice, knowledgeable, and polite. The apartments are absolutely lovely and beautiful, and anyone would be comfortable living there. The dining area was a little small, but it's nice. The place is new.

I didn't care very much for anything in The Crossings at Wayside when I visited. The rooms needed to be repainted because the paint looked patchy. The employees weren't sweet, unlike in other senior places. They do housekeeping for the residents, and the staff member who gave me the tour was informative.

My daddy has been a resident at "The Crossings at Wayside since July 11, 2016. I'm very pleased with the attention and care that he has been receiving at this facility. He has been hospitalized twice in 2017 and had it not been for the care staff at The Crossings and them knowing their residents he might not be with us today. In May the "Care Staff" noticed a sudden change in his mental status and called me that something wasn't right. I had just visited him 2 nights prior to the phone call. They called me and EMS where he was transported to the ER. He was diagnosed with a UTI as well as pneumonia. He spent 7 days in the hospital and 25 days in Rehab in Fayetteville. In August daddy fell and fractured his hip in the bathroom. The care staff was standing outside of the bathroom when he fell. They immediately help him up and called EMS. He was transported to the First Health and had surgery that evening . He spent 28 days in Rehab at St. Joseph in the Pines in Pinehurst. St. Joseph is NO comparison to The Crossings at Way when it comes to patient care and patient assistance with hygiene. The staff at The Crossings is always having some kind of “Special Function “in which they really put a lot of time and effort into the food as well as decorating the facility really nice. It seems to be a teamwork environment and everyone works hard to ensure the residents are taking care of. I would recommend The Crossings at Wayside to anyone who needs to find a location for their love one. My sister and I looked at several locations and decided on The Crossings and we are glad we did.

The Crossings is gorgeous, and my husband will be checking in there quite soon. I saw them playing Bingo. They have a library, a sauna, a steam room, outdoor rest areas, and patios. The staff was excellent, we ate there, and the menu had a large variety.

The Crossing is the best as I see it. But they don't have space. They're all organized, clean, and they have security. I think this is the best for my mother-in-law. The dining area is clean and organized. The residents looked good with their clothes. The place didn't smell weird. This is the best.

The Crossings at Wayside is a nice and really well-done facility. They have outside areas and an activity room. They serve food every day in the dining room. The rooms are nice, but they don't come with extras unless you want to pay for it.
