Village Lake Inn fit what my mother needed. It's a nice, down-to-earth place. You don't feel distant. The staff is right there to work with you. It's a small place, and the rooms are typical. The facility is a nice brick structure with a big front porch, a water fountain and a nice backyard with trees. Hummingbirds and squirrels come up and people sit out in their rocking chairs. They have very nice decor inside.

The lady at Village Lake Inn was very informative and nice. The only thing was you could only use a walker and not a wheelchair because they said a wheelchair would occupy a big space in their hallway. They had the list of activities weekly, and they could choose which activities to participate in. The dining area was nice, and they had a variety of food choices every day. They had a salon inside, and there's a hairdresser that comes in during certain times.
