About This Community
The Haven at Wingate is a newly remodeled home in a small town environment, although close to plenty of dining, shopping, and activities. Our home has 5 bedrooms, all uniquely decorated. There is one bedroom that is semi-private and has its own large bathroom. We have a fire sprinkler system for added safety along with monitored security system. Residents will enjoy visits from a physician and nurse right to our home. We have a pharmacy that keeps track of medications and makes deliveries of the medications. The Haven at Wingate is ideal for someone seeking excellent care in a home environment. Our limit of 6 residents ensures individualized care for all. Our staff is well trained and experienced, realizing that compassion is a huge part of providing wonderful care.

The Haven at Wingate lives up to its name - a haven. If you truly want loving, caring care for you or for your loved one, you will choose The Haven at Wingate! Each room is "theme-decorated" and absolutely beautiful, with a lot of light and comfort. The staff is well-trained, but more importantly, they "care". The dignity of their residents iis foremost. The Haven is exactly where you or your loved one wants to be.

The Haven at Wingate is absolutely wonderful. The reason I chose it is because it has a new concept. This facility is more like a country home than a nursing home. There was a lady that totally revamped her home for handicapped people. There’s a ramp that goes up; the bathrooms are redone, so you can bring wheelchairs in there. It only has room for six residents. It has four bedrooms -- one has two beds. The most important thing is they have a staff ratio of 3:1. They have monitors and cameras in each room that watch them when they’re sleeping. There are monitors on the bed that if the residents try to get up, it will alarm because they don’t want any resident to go to the bathroom by themselves. The staff are very loving and caring. They pet their patients; they’re sweet to them. Their nails are done, they have makeup on, they get bathed every day. They put their blankets around them. It’s a very nice concept in a nursing home care.
