Welcome to The Pines at Davidson. The Pines is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located on a beautiful, wooded 50-acre campus at 400 Avinger Lane in Davidson, NC. As a CCRC, The Pines offers residents a full continuum of health care, from independent living to skilled nursing care. Life at The Pines is vibrant and active; however, should a resident's health change, additional care is available on site, eliminating the need for a move to another facility.

Davidson, North Carolina, is a suburb of Charlotte, a mid-size world class city, specializing in Southern charm and hospitality. Charlotte is located within easy access to both the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains and the spectacular North Carolina coast line. Davidson is a small college town, home to Davidson College, one of the premier liberal arts colleges in the country.

The Pines offers residents lifetime use of a residence and care within The Pines community in accordance with the terms of a Residence and Care Agreement. Residents may also use The Pines' many common areas and amenities, including the Workman Wellness Center.

We have a friend that lives in the memory care section of The Pines at Davidson. It's a very nice and very clean facility. They've just undergone a major expansion. She got a studio-type room, and she can either go down for her meals or they would bring the food to her room. They also have a gym and a heated pool, and other facilities. Their dining area is very nice too. You don't smell any urine in there. They keep it very, very clean. It is just expensive.

The Pines was topnotch at everything. The cleanliness, the care, the attention, the up kept of the grounds, re-doing the inside periodically and the food were all topnotch. They had indoor pool. They had exercise equipment. They had studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. They had a bus that took them on trips, to groceries and doctor's appointment. I liked their location. They had box gardens where they could grow vegetables. They had walking trails.

We toured The Pines and we liked it. We liked what they did with the care and how they did it. You had a choice of a room, an apartment, a condo and a cabin. I liked the private room where you could bring your friends in. They had everything. We were familiar with the area. It was very modern and clean.

The Pines was great. It was just around the corner from my house and it had beautiful homes. It had a gorgeous pool and had tons of things going on. The town is very active there and the Pines is very active in the town.
