This is a clean facility, but you can not judge a book by it's cover. Some people are nice and some are not. There are only a couple of CNAs there that get the job done. My mom was there and she kept a log of how it was. I read it and wanted to go there and say something but she said no. My mom is to nice. On third shift they did not change her but one time through the night. She said some people there act prejudice and did not pay her any attention. A lot of nurses lied on her about when they gave her medicine. The nurse practitioner talked down on her. She said that if someone needs 24 hour care there not going to get it there. She was so happy to leave there that it did not make no sense. She said most of the time she was alone in the room in a wheelchair that was hard to push so she had to just sit there. She said her room mate did not let her watch TV so she had to wat h stuff on her laptop. She said when she was hot and they would cut the ac on her room mate would come cut it off. My mom don't walk so she couldn't get up and turn it back on so the whole time there she felt helpless. If I knew that was going on I would of been got her out of there. It's sad that she can take better care of herself than the nursing home. That just really let me know that they all are about money.

I found this facility to be extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. I was extremely impressed with the Administrator and his obvious love and enthusiasm for his staff and residents. My aunt just received therapy at the Brian Center and I was extremely happy with her progress and eventual outcome. I would highly recommend this facility.

The Brian Center was an overall clean center. There was some smells and odors from the facility, but this is a usual occurrence at nursing facilities with so many medical responsibilities. The staff was very polite and understanding of my great grandmothers extreme medical needs and dementia, and worked well with her. There were some issues with staff members not being as attentive or as careful as they needed with her, which was handled well by the management of the facility. There were ample opportunities and resources to occupy her time and there was always staff if we needed anything. She enjoyed her stay there until her last days and we enjoyed visiting her in the nice family visitation rooms as well as her won personal room, which was kept very clean by staff. The Brian Center offered us peace of mind that her medical, and mental health needs were being cared for as needed and it was probably the best choice for our family.
