The staff at Heritage Greens were very friendly and helpful, and everything looked pretty good. It was a place that we would consider. Everybody that we saw seemed friendly and helpful. They had some activities every day, like there was a group doing crafts while we were there. The room was nice and fairly big. The one we saw had good storage and was overall pretty nice. Their dining room was fine, they had several separate small dining areas, so we saw one of those. Each section eats in a separate dining area. It was clean, but it just wasn't as clean and nice as some other places I've seen.

My mother is in Heritage Greens. She was in independent living and we had to move her to assisted living. The independent living was excellent, and there was good communication. They have the same thing down at the assisted living place. It is great. The staff members appear to know what they're doing. They're good. The maintenance crews are prompt and take care of things. I have no complaints. She's got dementia and we're having some issues with her eating and everything, but they've got a good selection and she said it's good.
They remodel the room between people. They asked us what color we wanted it painted, they upgraded the flooring, put in granite countertops, and come in with housekeeping and collect trash. She's only been in the assisted living part for two days. So far, it's excellent. I think they try to do a good job with the food. They've bent over backward to help accommodate what she needs.

I saw both assisted living and memory care at Heritage Greens. I would recommend it. The staff seemed nice. The place was clean, and the rooms were very cozy and seemed very comfortable. I didn't really see a whole lot of the amenities and all that. I just read that stuff, and then they walked me through the facility. It was nice. They had a game room, a music room, and a couple of social areas. It was a nice place.

We toured the Heritage Greens last November. The tour was very informational, and they took their time and explained everything to us about what their facility offered. We had a tour of the area and even a two-bedroom room just to see the layout, and the people were very nice, very nice. When we got there, the gentleman, was already with somebody else. And it was kind of going over, so they had us sit in the dining room and they brought us dessert while we waited. It was nice downstairs. Some individuals were sitting around. They had some music going. They were conversing. There was a fireplace, and it just seemed like everybody had a very nice time. They were just very relaxed.

I liked the community aspect of Heritage Greens. I liked the activities available, the openness, and the dining facility had a lot of choices available. The room had a patio and that was something that I was very impressed with. It had a lot of outdoor space that was usable.
The person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable, caring, well-informed, and offered to assist me. This was something that I didn't have a lot of knowledge about, and she was willing to fill in the blanks and help me with that. So, she was very professional.

I toured Heritage Greens for my grandmother. The community was great. When I got there, they didn't know I had a tour schedule, so we had to stand in the lobby for a little while. They figured out what was happening, and then they were very nice, and they were very respectful of our interests and timelines. I asked very quickly about the length of stay, and they said they have a 30-day minimum preference.
They were quick to show me what was important to me. They made me think that if I wanted that kind of service, that would be about as good a place as I could get. I met some of the staff there, the CNAs, and they were very nice. I saw the rooms, too.
They also had some nice activities. I saw the calendar and they had bingo, singing, and other kinds of listening to music. They have trivia and movies, too. Those are the ones I paid much attention to.
They had nice dining. It looked great.

We looked at Heritage Greens in Greensboro and they were extremely nice. I was very, very impressed with every staff member. I don't care if you were taking out the trash or whatever, but they smiled and spoke to us; just clearly extremely professional people. It was a great experience. The place was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were adequate, certainly not terribly large, but bright and very clean. It seemed very good. I had a sense that they have great communication with their residents. Of course during COVID people aren't using amenities like they were, so I didn't have a good sense of it.

I visited Heritage Greens, and I found it very interesting and very informative. The different host or hostesses that told us about the layout, the food, and the laundry were all very nice. It was just a nice visit. Right now, theyre doing construction in the main room, and I thought that was interesting. I liked the way the assisted living apartment was organized into two rooms and a bath, and I liked the windows in it. I liked the fact that some people decorate their doors, some people dont, and it seems to be OK. I felt that the assisted living portion was built a couple of years ago and needs repainting and resealing.

Heritage Greens was very clean. I liked the layout; it was all at one floor. It had little screened-in porches, which were very nice. However, we did not like the rooms because the only room they had available was a companion room, and we were interested in a private room. The residents were in the common room playing with a ball. Everybody seemed to be having a good time. It looked like the residents were happy. The staff was very involved in the activities. They were good.

I cannot express enough how impressed we are with the entire staff and operations of Heritage Greens Retirement Community. From the moment we went to visit as an option for our Dad who has Alzheimers, we were welcomed and made to feel as though our Dad's specific needs were of utmost importance. They have delivered over and over. I cannot recommend HG enough.

Moved my mother July 22, 2016 & it has been the best move ever. They are caring & helpful in every way they can & makes the new resident at home. Anything you ask they will give you an answer as soon as you ask & they don't wait a month, they have someone right on the task.
The dining in my eye is a 5 star dining experience!
Extremely happy with our move!

My father-in-law was at Heritage Greens, and the care was not as attentive and professional as the care where he is now. Because we were new to the disease and we were dealing with issues, we didn't know what kind of care we were getting. I knew I was struggling there with him and with his progress, but I didn't know that the facility had a lot to do with that. Looking back, in comparison to where he is now, I know the staff can make a big difference. They could definitely improve on communication and the attention when the resident's family comes in. They also need to raise the bar on their professionalism and their investment in the resident.

I toured Heritage Greens over a year ago. I liked the fact that it had all three stages. You can start in independent living and then move to assisted living if you need to. You do not have to move to a whole different community. The people I talked with were very nice.

Heritage Greens offered everything that she was looking for. The place was convenient and well laid out for her to be able to maneuver. The staff seemed to be very welcoming, concerned, caring, and interested as well. The only thing that I would say would be a negative is that I am a little concerned about the fact that they have a kitchenette with a stove.

The assisted living unit in the Heritage Greens was small, and everything was on one floor. My mom was in a one-bedroom apartment, and it was a little spacious. The staff was very caring. They had a very good director of activities. They had brain games, beach volleyball, trips, and music programs.

My husband's grandmother lived here for just over a month before she passed away. We have had nothing but problems when trying to reach someone who would speak to us about her account. We were finally given the information and now over 2 months later that information has changed. It has been a very bad experience with having to deal with the death and then the run around we have gotten on top of it. It has been a very unprofessional experience.

We liked Heritage Greens. It’s not new but it’s nice and the atmosphere was really good there. The front door was wide open with big windows and a nice big room where people can sit around in chairs and talk. It was very nicely decorated. They had lunch for us; you go in and sit down at a nice table with a cloth on it. It was just first class all the way. The food was wonderful, there were several choices to make and they had a very nice salad bar. They have large rooms with big windows overlooking the grounds. Everything was nice and clean.

The facility, all the decors and the entrance looked like it was high security and on the surface it looked prettier, but I don't see the focus on the relationship and interaction with the community. I just don't see that there, although their staff was helpful.

My mom's been at the Heritage Green assisted living before. The place was fantastic and everything was above board. They just didn't meet some of my parents' needs. But, as far as the staff is concerned, they couldn't have been better, we have no complaints against them, whatsoever.

Overall, it's been very good. Mom's been treated very well in Heritage Greens. She's closer to where I live, about five minutes. They're food is excellent and the facility is very clean.

The staff there was very friendly and accommodating to the needs of the residents. The residents themselves seemed very lively and had many activities available to them. It was a joy to be able to read to the citizens and have them so active in the process. The facility was very clean and was very bright. Since the facility was near a variety of shops, the residents were able to visit them with transportation provided. I saw that there was also an Alzeimer's care center for patients with the illness to be looked after. The library itself was very spacious and included many literature that would be relevant to the residents. There were handrails everywhere which would help the residents move more safely in addition to the staff being on hand to help any resident who had trouble. There were large call buttons for when anybody had an emergency and I actually witnessed one go off when a resident slipped and was immediately helped by the staff.

My mother stayed at Heritage Greens while recuperating from several surgies. I found the facility to be well maintained with a friendly staff. Even though she was confined to a wheel chair, she was able to participate in the numerous activities that they provide for the residents. There is even an onsite beauty salon. I enjoyed several meals with her and thought the food was restaurant quality. The food choices were more than adequate for each meal.I really liked that family was encouraged to come visit at any time and we were able to participate in the resident activities and meals. Visiting my mother at Heritage Greens felt more like visiting her home than visiting a medical facility.I did notice that there was a high turnover rate for the facility, but everyone that I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. My mother never had any complaints about the way she was treated and said she would miss bath time when her stay ended. She even suggested that she take up full time residency there when she was unable to adequately care for herself independently.

I decided to take a stroll through Heritage Greens because I had actually been there before when my great-grandfather had been there when he died over almost a decade ago. Not much has changed in my eyes except for some of the staff was new.
When I walked through the front door, however, I did notice that a patient and a caretaker (as I like to call them) were having a chat on a bench in front of the building enjoying the scorching hot day like there was not a care in the world. I really enjoyed seeing that. When I walked in I saw that there was plenty of "busy-bees" walking around doing activities and other things like talking and cleaning.
There was one instance where I noticed a patient in a room calling out for someone to come help her for at least two minutes but no one responded. I know that the place was very busy and it may have been a little noisy but not that noisy.
Overall my experience was good. The grounds were very well kept and the building was clean. The staff were, for the most part very nice and knowledgeable but it was because of that one instant where the patient was ignored, that I gave this institution four stars.
