My Dad was placed on Hospice here 11/2021 The staff went above and beyond taking care of my Father. I was informed daily about how he was doing. Often they would reach out to me. I had the chance to have Video calls when ever I wanted too. Magdalene(Nurse) was nice and friendly she called me so I could to talk to my Dad on many times. All of the CNA'S took very good care of him, Anything I would ask for the got the job done. I had family members often to go visit him and he was ALWAYS clean. I can't thank them enough for caring for my Father.

My mother has been in this nursing home for 4 years.. she has been moved from the front to the far back to the side and the other side..she has been moved too many times and the atmosphere seems as if nobody is being taking care of.. my mother has been to the emergency room 3 times because of this nursing homes lack of care for the residents here.. the ER nurse told me she hasn’t been changed in 4 days yo. That’s so unprofessional and it seems like the farther she’s back the worse the employees are.. definitely will be switching her this is crazy!! And the rooms haven’t been swept or mopped for weeks

I visit a friend who is a resident. Recently, the name was changed to University Care Facility, however no upgrade to building decor or physical improvement. This place looks and feels like an old nursing home, hospital atmosphere. My friend complains about the poor quality of food, as well as the staff.

The staff was very friendly and appeared to genuinely care about the residents. They are very patient people and are prompt at meeting residents' needs. The facility is kept clean. I feel I can trust Britthaven of Charlotte with the care of my relative. The residents seem very happy and are not left alone. They have access to a social life and appear to be very comfortable at Britthaven. The quality of food is generally good and I have never heard my aunt complain about it. Overall Britthaven of Charlotte is a good nursing home and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
