The Cypress of Charlotte is a very nice, very, very well maintained, and a top of the line community. However, you have to buy the units, and the one I was looking at was somewhere between $700,000 and $800,000. What makes Cypress of Charlotte different is, it is a buy-in, the rest of them are not. When you buy the units, you also pay the taxes, but when you die or you move out, you can sell the unit, so the money comes back to you. I almost purchased a unit there but I decided not to because for the price, it was too small.

We liked the programs at The Cypress of Charlotte. The food was great, and their breakfast was a buffet. The dinners and lunches had been great. The program that we will be in includes breakfast and one meal a day, which is dinner. We can have lunch there if we want to, but we'll just have to pay for it at the end of the month. We do not have a specific time to eat the meals, which is what we liked. The staff was very pleasant.

The Cypress of Charlotte was a very nice place and one of the two where I put in an application. It was, I think, only about 20 years old, and everything was in virtually new condition. The lunches were very nice. The staff was very professional. It had some major advantages over all the other places I’ve looked, including how you actually buy and own your apartment. When you move into assisted living or when you die, your family can sell the property. The other places all have a buy-in for the most part, but with this one, you buy your apartment and you buy your bill, so that was very appealing because it minimizes the loss. The dining area was very nice, like a fancy restaurant with very good food. They had a pool, a gym, game rooms, and TV rooms, and take trips here and there, so it is a very active living place.

My mom is at The Cypress of Charlotte. The staff is good most of the time, but she is unhappy with the food. It tastes terrible because it has no flavor to it.

I've been living in the Cypress for about a week now, and I'm very pleased with it. It is excellent. Their staff and the residents are so friendly. I have no problems at all with the place. I have a little over 1500 square feet, two bedrooms and a large living area. They have a list of activities every day. The grounds are great. I live in a high rise, we're surrounded by individual dwellings, and we have a water park.

I think everything here at Cypress of Charlotte would be five stars. The staff couldn't be nicer. The rooms are very nice, large, and airy. Their dining room is very nice, open, and airy. Their food is excellent too. They have a lot of activities there. They have an exercise room and a pool. They have lots of things to do.

We have our names in at the Cypress of Charlotte, and we're just waiting for an opening. They have all kinds of activities. Their staff is fabulous. They have a full 60-acres campus. It is just a lovely place. They have trips to the theater, they have entertainment coming in, they have cards, and they have a pool table. They have a lot of different activities like that. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

My parents are happy with Cypress of Charlotte. This is a home inside a home. The rooms are beautiful, just like living in a little mansion in a small community. The food is magnificent and the dining room is beautiful and elegant. They have waiters. There is also so much for them to do.

It was actually nice. You could buy the units and you could stay there your whole life. It was like a home. They had a lot of couple there and they seemed to have a lot of activities. If you decided you don't want to stay there, you could sell it.

The Cypress in Charlotte, NC is located in a very upscale area and is convenient to many all that anyone could need. The location has easy access to many doctors and medical facilities that seniors will appreciate. It is also close to shopping, arts, and entertainment. The facility itself offers year round swimming, gardening, concerts, educational opportunities and fitness classes. Seniors can enjoy take part in daily programs and activities. Housing available includes independent living in cottages and villas in a variety of sizes and floor plans. The Cypress provides many conveniences and services along with excellent healthcare on site. There is a Medicare certified facility that offers both long term care and short term recuperation. One wing of the facility is dedicated to Alzheimer's care. Within the health care facility are deluxe suites, along with private or semi private rooms. Home ownership and membership at The Cypress comes with a contract for lifetime care. Overall, The Cypress is one of the most luxurious and well maintained facilities for assisted living. During visits with friends that live in one of the Villas, I have been very impressed not only with the facility itself, but with the caring and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone is very friendly and concerned with the well being and safety of the residents. Every need is taken care of quickly and every request is handled as if it is being done for a family member. I would highly recommend The Cypress. The only negative for some would be the cost, as it is in a very expensive area of Charlotte.
