My mom moved into Revived Senior Living. This facility is not a traditional memory care as someone might think. She's receiving heavy assistance in terms of her daily needs. Their caregiver to patient ratio is unmatched. Since we have been there, they are extremely clean and sanitary. They go to great lengths to make sure that she is thoroughly clean, that she has moved within her bed or her chairs to make sure that she doesn't develop bedsores and things of that sort. They communicate strongly regarding what they notice may be a change in her situation or her needs. They have been very good at partnering with hospice care and communicating with hospice, and the hospice is actually very impressed with the level of care that she is getting. I think they can have up to six people in the home, and so they have a dining table that would sit six. They have a nice kitchen with granite countertops, and they have a bar area so that they can see the patients while they're providing and doing the food. I know that they prepare the diets according to physician orders, so some of the other residents are on a mechanical soft. My mother has been ordered to puree because she's struggling to swallow and that was something that they actually helped notice and reported to hospice. She's in the advanced stage of dementia, so she just listens to music. They try to change her environment to get her out of the room and into the living area. They do have an activities director who comes in. I can see evidence that some people paint. There are other games there. There are puzzles also. In their entirety, it's a very nice place for someone in my mother's stage.
