I have lived here 6 years and find it a warm welcoming community with lots of activities and excellent health care. During Covid 19, the staff has worked very hard to keep us safe and happy within the state and local restrictions.

My father in law is a resident. A few years ago he moved from independent living to the health nursing unit. Since the covid-19 quarantine we cannot get any information - the management will only communicate with one family member. Before covid-19 we would visit weekly. Place is not clean. Independent living was ok but nursing care is terrible.

Absolutely worst care possible in continuing care. Public facility would be much better. They are rude and Uncaring . Loved ones should never be treated in such a way. No wonder they want you to limit visits. They failed to send my dear loved one to the hospital for 9 hours.....AFTER A FALL, He Had a severe brain bleed and lived 3 weeks. Any health care professional should know better. DON’T GO THERE!!!!

PE’s, location, apartments are very good value. The staff is also very good. For the first few months the food was excellent, however it has tracked down to fair and sometimes poor. This is a budget issue. Maintenance is another area that is slow and budget constrained. The business model is growth and PE was expanded before the assisted living and skilled care facilities were built. Availability of those facilities are questionable. Finally they have restricted residents to campus even in Matthews where the incidence is low due to problems in the Philly area and concerns over liability. They keep you just unhappy enough to not leave. If you want a facility where you do want to leave only occasionally as many do it will meet your needs.

It is a great place UNTIL you need to transition to the next level. With adding on so many new units, across the street, they have failed to add any rooms for assisted living , so you get on a waiting list. This is not what we signed up for with a $200k unit(one bedroom) you cannot sell back and $3000 a month rent. The whole point is pay up front so you are taken care of as soon as you need it. Be aware of this.

I liked the overall feel of Plantation Estates. I liked the sizes of the apartments. I liked the location because it was near some friends. I had lunch in their cafeteria, and they had very good food. I liked the people I talked to; they all seemed to be very friendly. I liked the amenities that it offered. It had a workout room. I liked the activities that seemed to go on. I was just very pleased with it. They had a library. They had trips. They had a number of places to eat. They were building a new addition that was just across the street from their present campus. They scheduled a van three times a week for doctor's appointments, or they had doctors that came in their medical center in the campus. It appeared to be well thought out. I was very impressed. If I would decide on an apartment, they would totally strip it and would redo it all to my liking.

We seriously considered Plantation Estates. They had just built a new place that was really nice. They had memory care and assisted living that goes with the condo that you buy. The residents that we met there really loved it and spoke very highly of the place. They were very amicable and very positive. They had daily and weekly programs and transportation that took the residents downtown to concerts. They're building a new clubhouse, too.

We visited Plantation Estates. The food was good. It was like food from a nice restaurant. When a room became available, they renovated and upgraded it like new. It was a nice place. They had very nice facilities there. Everything was well kept and nice. The people were very friendly. They had all the amenities that everyone else offered. It was good.

Plantation Estates was very nice, bright, and adequate. The food and the experience were excellent. I liked it a lot. The residents were very happy -- most of them were very content -- and I had a lot of friends who are here. They were very nice and receptive, and everybody was pleasant.

Plantation Estates was very nice. It was just too expensive for me. The staff was wonderful. They were very cordial, very affable and very helpful in their instructions.

Plantation Estates was one of the two where I put in an application. It had just about everything I’m interested in. The one major advantage it had that some of other places did not have, was that they credited me and gave me a much better rate because I have this long-term care policy. All other places don’t do that, but Plantation Estates gave me credit and it’s going to save me a lot of money every year. I only visited one building because they didn’t have much to show me there, but they gave me floor plans and showed me schematic maps. They’re building right now, and I applied for one of their new apartments that should be open in roughly a year. I know they have an exercise room and swimming pool.

I like the company that runs Plantation Estates. It looked very nice, and I am very impressed with the staff. I liked the food; we ate there. I know they've got swimming and exercise activities. The reason we didn't like it was its location or distance from Raleigh, North Carolina.

We went to see Plantation Estates. It was an Acts community. We had a tour and a lunch there. They were getting ready to expand their facility which will be ready in three to five years. We were kind of interested in some of those, but the facility was very nice. It was very clean. The whole facility was very pleasantly laid out. It was landscaped nicely. I think anybody could be happy there. The independent living was very good.

I visited a friend at Plantation Estates. I was very impressed. It was clean, bright, and light. She had a nice apartment. I had lunch with her there, and the food was good. I also had dinner with her there once or twice, and I was impressed about that. It was like you were in a restaurant, and you could order. They had like 3 or 4 entrees, and you could order the different types of food you wanted for appetizers or dessert. That was really nice and special. You felt special because they waited on you, and the food was delicious. My friend participated in line dancing. She took me around, and they had an exercise room. She showed me the pool. There was a bulletin board that had different activities for different days. They had day trips. One of the things that was impressive to me was she got sick, and she didn't have to leave her apartment; she went down to what they called medical, she stayed there till she was better, and then she went back to her apartment, which meant she did have to go outside the facility. I met the staff in the hall, but I always noticed that they knew her by name, they spoke to her, I thought that they were up on that, and she's been out there for a long time. They were very friendly. The only problem I had was that they were too expensive.

Everything is great here in Plantation Estates. I wish we signed up to live here, but now that my husband had a couple of strokes, I'm not sure we could get in. The rooms are nice. They have a good size, and it is a pleasant place. They have a lot of activities, and they have a little bus to take you where you want to go. The dining room is nice, bright, and airy. The food is excellent as well. It is a very nice place.

We thought Plantation Estates was a nice place. It was very well organized. There was a presentation of the offerings that they had, and they were planning an expansion. So they were trying to attract new people who were interested in getting on the waiting list to go on a tour of the building in expansion. I think that they would not yet start building for several more months. We do have the information from them that we can go back to ask futher questions and talk to them more about the financial aspects and what may be available in the apartments. Plantation Estates offers an extensive contract to give you lifetime care without increasing your fees. They seemed to have a lot of community spirit where the residents were participating in all of the tours, and they went out a lot.

I stayed with my aunt at Plantation Estates. They're a little bit more like a residential neighborhood. The dining halls are all the same, and the chef prepares excellent meals. The apartments are a little bit smaller, but their buildings are gorgeous. They're all brick buildings. It's been there for a little while. It looks brand new. Everything is completely taken care of well. I have to say that it does look like a southern estate. That's just so beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean.

Plantation Estates was the one we liked. It was near where my daughter lived. It was a large community with 400 or 500 residents. The outperformed some of the other place and we had a good feeling on that place. They had all kind of sizes of apartments from small and the large ones. We had lunch and the food was good. Several residents came and talked about what it was like living there. They seemed to have a lot of programs. They had a pool and exercise room and they got programs to go with it. One the things that they organized, was a trip to New Zealand and Australia for a vacation. The disadvantage was that they had a long waiting list and it was expensive.

I've visited the Plantation Estates, but it wasn't an option for me only because it was too expensive. It's a much larger facility and they have more choices; they have more classes that are available. They have a clinic with doctors and nurses on board. The staff was very nice and I have no complaints. If I could afford it, that's where I'd be living.

My relative will be going into Plantation Estates. She will enter as independent living but she will have assisted and skilled nursing when she needs them. I like the fact that it is also close to where she lives and that she will be able to navigate that part of the city. Their staff is extraordinary. With regards to activities, they have everything that you can imagine. Their apartments could be larger though.

Plantation Estates is a great assisted living facility. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. While I was there I had breakfast in the cafe which was mostly self serve. Lunch was in the cafe but it was cafeteria style. Dinner was in the dining room and there was formal settings. The waitstaff was very nice. The tour of the kitchen revealed a clean organized fully stocked kitchen. There was plenty of medical staff on hand and there was a specific medical wing where those who require more intensive car could live. The individual units were clean and well kept. There is security staff that controls entrance to the facility. The grounds are well kept with sidewalks and many outdoor activities. The grounds are surrounded by trees, secluded and quiet. They are also very scenic. Pets are permitted. Overall I was very impressed with Plantation Estates. This is an excellent retirement community for a reasonable price.
