Bartlett Reserve was very nice and spacious. They had a number of different one-bedrooms to look at, as well as efficiencies. We didn't look at the two-bedrooms. They had a nail salon, a beauty parlor, and a gym. They had a nice firepit outside that they roast marshmallows and sing songs around. They have little garden spaces that they could go and work in. They have classes and entertainment that comes in. They also take them out to different places. They're one of the nicest ones that is appropriate for my sister. They're not as updated as the others, but she's not looking for anything like that. She's looking for something more simple and basic with some activities and friendly folks. She's just a ranch woman who's retired and living here, so this appealed to her because of that. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

I really liked Bartlett Reserve. It seemed kind of homey and not very commercial. I sort of like the idea that you can go to their dining room any time from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. You don't have to go at a specific time for lunch or dinner exactly. The staff seemed pleasant enough, too. I talked to a couple of residents, and they loved it. One of them has lived in several other retirement homes, and she much preferred the Bartlett Reserve. They have one- and two-bedroom apartments, and they were nice. They have a small kitchen, and it doesn't take up too much room. I like that they have a swimming pool. They also have an exercise room, a theater, a library, a grand piano in the library, laundry facilities, and a beauty shop.
