My husband was at The Oaks of Alamance for about two weeks. It's an assisted living facility, and it was not good. He needed more help and they weren't able to give it to him or were willing to give it to him. I would describe the staff as lazy. The cleanliness was not great. I was not happy with them at all. A couple of the staff members were good and helped, and a couple wouldn't even look at you. The food was OK and the dining area was nice, but he always had to eat in his room. I heard they shave him and do all that but I've never seen proof of it. I wouldn't want people to consider this place. It's too much money.

Dustin is a joke he sits in his office doing nothing. At of 2 employees the rest of the staff is bad. My mother in law was there & the almost killed her. They did not get her out of bed except a few times. And on the weekend or was like " potluck " they all would be out back smoking or standing around the front desk area on their cellphones or talking some could not get out of there We paid & was owed a refund & Dustin never said anything & never returned our calls Do yourself a favor Don't send the lived ones to " The Oaks of Alamance "

If I could give negative stars I would do so. My grandfather was given his meds along with another residents meds recently and that landed him in the hospital almost dead. The med tech would administered this should have been fired but instead they chose to keep her and evict my grandfather. They even have bed bugs and neglect their residents. This same employee threw water at him. Employees are rude. Meals are cold and usually heated leftover looking.

The Oaks of Alamance was a very nice facility. It was definitely more spacious than the other one I saw, it also had a mixture of male and female clients, and they had entertainment rooms. People would come in and they would do the client's hair. They had a lot of amenities in addition to the care, the staff was really good, the young lady at the desk walked us around, she showed us the different layouts, the different rooms that they had available, and there was a private room. For semi-private rooms, they offered mechanisms for privacy, and they offered the ability to bring in additional equipment they want whether TV or monitors, and those were good options.
