Not a good place for your family member or friend to live. I can never get anyone to answer the phone, always go to a message box that is always full. Can’t believe they only have 1 phone??? My dad was always upkeep, couldn’t tell you how many of his clothes went missing. One time my dad called frantically saying another resident was wearing his favorite sweatshirt. They did nothing about it. Don’t let your love one live here.

Staff doesn’t do as they promise. Clothes are always misplaced or given to someone else. Not enough staffing. Often feel as though staff will promise you everything just to get you out of their way.

My mother was in Kingsbridge House and I would not recommend it to anyone. They were short staffed and they didn't care. I didn't have a great experience with it. The facility appeared fine, but it's not elaborate like some of the others. They have a decent dining room. It didn't compare to other facilities. They were making cookies and that's the only activity I saw. They also have music therapy, which was being done by hospice.

Most of the staff are exceptional by going above and beyond as I know it is not an easy job to do. The staff also does a good job of getting mom involved in the activities. I especially like that they have churches come in every week to provide service and ministry opportunities.

I am sorry that you have had this experience. As the administrator of Kingsbridge House, I take all such complaints seriously and would welcome the opportunity to sit down with you and hear your specific concerns. We are frequently inspected by outside entities -- including the health department, -- and have received excellent scores across the board. During our most recent state survey (January 2016), we received the highest possible rating -- deficiency-free.

Nasty facility always dirty when I'm there , poor resident care when there is health issues. Have requested medical care over and over and haven't got any response. Facility promises but doesn"t follow through. Needs to be randomly inspected by Health Dept..

Find someplace else. My mother was there just under a year and developed Scabies and other ailments due to the non-caring attitude of the staff. Clothes and linens were not changed regularly and doctor prescribed medications not supplied as needed. We finally got her out of there and are now paying to resolve the damage they did. This place should really be reported to the authorities as it is not viable for elderly people.

If you can afford to go somewhere else, do so! This place used to be fairly nice, but since being bought out by the Chinese, it has gone downhill fast. (It's now owned by a conglomerate in Hong Kong, which stated it bought it as an investment, so that tells you what the number one priority is). Supervision is almost nil, and no attempt is made to keep residents from wandering in and out of rooms and taking items belonging to someone else. They can't be bothered to separate the residents laundry and clothing, and whenever I see my mom, she's dressed in some decrepit old thing that doesn't even belong to her. Half the time she has no shoes on, and her diaper is always dirty. They don't clean her nails, or comb her hair. She has also had some "unexplained" bruises. They've removed the carpeting, most of the artwork on the walls, and the place looks like a cheap dormitory (at best). No attempt seems to be made anymore in involving residents in any sort of activity. They have an RN (supposedly) who manages the place now, but she does diddly-squat and leaves everyday by 3pm. If you can afford an alternative to this warehousing facility, I suggest you do so. If I had guardianship of my mom, she would be out of there yesterday.

Kingsbridge is an outstanding example of a facility where intent, caring, and continual education results in assisted living that benefits everyone. The staff from top to bottom exhibit what Alzheimer's care should look like.
