If I could give 10 stars I would! My mother was at GHF for over two years before she recently passed. She started in short-term rehab after a fall and hospital stay. Then moved to assisted living then to skilled nursing As her dementia progressed and her needs changed. Yes the Healthcare building is older but it is spotless and so well maintained. There is never the odor often found in these facilities. But the most important thing is their staff. They are all amazing! I have never experienced so many loving, caring individuals working in this environment. And during Covid 19 they spent extra time with my mother and all residents to make up for families not being able to visit in person. And I mean ALL staff including Nursing, housekeeping, food service, social work, admissions, office and upper management. They all go out of their way to make our loved ones feel loved and treat them with kindness, dignity and respect.
