There are no words to express how much I appreciate and value the care I received at the Bridger Healthcare Community. I was so frightened to learn I needed surgery on my spine. And then I was blessed to have the opportunity to recover with you all before returning home. For that I will be eternally grateful. While in your care I felt everyone went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible during some very uncomfortable times. Anytime I ran for assistance you always responded immediately or within a reasonable amount of time. I have always heard such horror stories about nursing home food but I can actually say looked forward to and enjoyed meal time! You were all so very patient with me and I learn so many helpful things to assist in my recovery for when I returned home. It has been a month now since my surgery and I am doing remarkably well. To that I accredit a good portion to the aftercare I received at the Bridger Healthcare Community. Thank you all for the quality and loving care you provided me.

The facility took decent care of my grandmother, as far as these things are concerned. She was very frustrated and scared during her time there, mainly because she did not always receive the care she needed immediately and the other patients made her nervous. I would not say that they ignored her or treated her poorly, as they were not malicious or cruel. However, they were a busy unit and could not provide the excellent and loving care of a family member.Other residents of the nursing home often made her nervous, as they had lost many of their faculties and would scream, yell, or cry with no apparent provocation. A few would even wander the halls doing this, and I believe one had turrets as she would yell profanities that made my grandmother uncomfortable. I believe this was the most frustrating aspect for my grandmother. Additionally, she was a very independent woman, so the staffs inability to aid her when needed in bathing or using the restroom made my grandmother feel hobbled and undignified.
