All units have private baths (handicapped accessible) and kitchenettes complete with apartment size refrigerator/ freezer and microwave oven. Emergency call systems, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems are standard in all units. We also have a beautician on site.

AvonLea of Tupelo was wonderful, and it's easily accessible. The rooms were nice and a nice size. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Various residents were engaged in something, laughing and talking. It had a feel of a nice safe place for someone to live. The menu looked good, and everything seemed to be very nice. It was a very large dining area. They had a very good selection for the residents to choose what they would like to eat each day. They have a courtyard, an open area, a beauty salon and barber shop, game rooms, and a party room for family if you want to have a private family event. They were all very nice.

My friend is here in Tupelo in AvonLea. She chose this one because it was the only one that had an opening that was close to her home. It has been an excellent experience. It is clean, and the people are very nice and very kind to her; that's what's important. She likes everything about it. The rooms are clean. The set-up where you eat is really nice. The food is good. Everything so far has been good. It has a beauty shop. They take them out twice a week, once to Walmart and once to ride around. She is able to come and go as she pleases. If someone wants to come and get her to take her somewhere, she can do that. They do her laundry for her. The administrator is the best I ever dealt with. The facility is really clean. It is not too big, so it is easy for her to get around. She doesn't really participate in activities because she has communication disorder, but they offer plenty of activities.
