I toured this facility recently and ate lunch with some of my friends that lived there. It was excellent. The tour was very informative and the place is beautiful! That is where I’m going when I retire!

The Waterford on Highland Colony was nice. The person who gave me the tour was great and very helpful. They had a nice big dining room with lots of light and kind of a formal elegant feel. They have a fitness room, a beauty parlor, and activities. They have a physical therapy company they work with that is onsite some of the time. They have laundry and housekeeping. The staff was very personable and very friendly. They have a library and an activity room where they do movies and yoga and stuff like that.

I toured the Waterford on Highland Colony. The room sizes and the amenities in the rooms seem to be really good. They're more than adequate. It was quite a large facility. For somebody that has impaired mobility to get to the cafeteria, it seemed far. Their staff seemed more than adequate, though I was entertained by just one. In terms of facilities, they had a little bit more than the other place I toured. They're more aimed toward independent living, so practically everybody there was quite active. As it turns out now, it's not going to be something that I'm going to be able to use for my mother. It's located close to a growing commercial area.

I think The Waterford on Highland Colony will be a good fit for me. I ate lunch out there one day and I had a tour and it seemed to offer everything that I'm looking for. It looked good. The employees there were very helpful and very informative. The facilities were very clean and nice. They have followed up with me and answered some additional questions that I had. I have not found any complaints at all. I talked to several of the residents there, and they all seemed very pleased. I'm getting excited. I hope my house sells quickly. Lots of shopping around were close. I saw the one-bedroom, and I think at this point, I'm probably going with it. The lunch I ate there was very good. It seemed to be a well-balanced meal and I enjoyed it. I met the chef there. He's a very, very nice man, and he was also very informative. The meals looked very healthy and I'm looking forward to it. Several of the people I've talked to were talking about getting together with certain groups that play cards and different games. They have a library. You can have rehab within the facility because they have someone there that does that, so that's nice. It's a little older than some that I've looked at, but they're clean and very well kept.

My dad moved into The Waterford on Highland Colony. The reason why I chose them was the combination of the features that they offer and also the price, which I found to be very affordable. The room is very clean. It was completely renovated before we moved in. They put down new floors and they painted. It's a very nice studio apartment, and it has a nice view. As for the staff, I really can't praise them enough. From the executive director, who I met, down to the cafeteria staff in the dining area, everyone was very, very helpful and very kind. After he moved in, people saw him out to explain how things worked, and it was just a very pleasant experience. I like the food a lot, I ate there several times, and I wanted to continue eating there. I found that food to be very good. Everyone agrees that the food at the Waterfront is better than what you would expect. As for the building itself and the facilities, it's very bright, it's very clean, it's very well kept. I didn't see any maintenance issues, and I didn't see any areas that needed repair. It is very well kept. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I thought it'd be very difficult to find a place of that caliber at that price range. I was very pleased with it. They have a shuttle that runs every Tuesday to a local Wal-Mart that is nearby for shopping. They have various internal activities in the building like card games, bingo that you would expect in a senior facility, but they also have classes that people can take, like painting and so on. They also will periodically go on field trips to areas of interest. The Waterford also offers a shuttle service for people to take to run errands like going to the doctor so they can take people to their doctor's appointments. They have to sign up for that, so they have to have to schedule it. The activities and the amenities I found to be fairly broad. The staff members are very accommodating.

My mother moved to The Waterford a few months ago and has been very happy. The staff is great and facilities are outstanding. It truly feels like the residents look after each other. From getting mom's hair done to church services and activities, The Waterford has become mom's home. We couldn't be more happy.

My parents have lived at The Waterford for over 2 years and it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made.

We have been blessed to find The Waterford! The staff is friendly and they were able to assist us with our needs very quickly. The facility is spacious and tastefully decorated. Activities are on the agenda every day and Bingo is our favorite. The activities director is super friendly and very caring of the residents. This facility is secure and located in an area off of the beaten path of the main streets. We would recommend this facility to anyone seeking a senior living community where everyone knows your name.

The Waterford on Highland Colony would be my second option, if I could afford it. The price was a little higher, but it was excellent. It's closer to me. It's easy to get to and they're very nice. The facility was very up-to-date, very clean, very neat, very bright, and very sunny. It was just beautiful. If I have my choices, that's where I'd go. The staff was very nice. It had a courtyard and a gym.

I visited The Waterford on Highland Colony, and it was very great. It was a clean place, and the staff was very nice. It's a little more upscale than the other ones I have visited. The apartments and the building seemed to be newer, and they were very nice. They have daily housekeeping, and they have a really pretty dining area. They also have transportation for seniors. They have twenty-four-hour, on-site staff and security, and they have pendants that all residents wear.

The Waterford provides an environment that stimulates you both physically and mentally. The community gives residents the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of programs and activities. I cannot ask for a better place to live in.

I have loved my 2 years at Waterford. It is a caring home for us. Activities are provided for every taste. Chino has worked tirelessly to keep us happily occupied, and she and Kevin have allowed us to feel free to express our requests and needs and interests. Recent physical improvements have been a great enhancement.

If you must leave your own home, this is the absolute best place to be.

The comforts of the Waterford have been uplifting. There's no place better for independent living.

The Waterford on Highland Colony was good as far as appearance. The staff who accommodated us during the tour was super nice. The apartments were really nice, too. The place would compare to any upscale apartment complex. Anything you needed, they had it right there. I couldn't say anything negative about them. It was super nice. Washers and dryers were available for the people to use. They had large sitting areas and game areas. People were sitting around playing games. They had a lot of events planned for them. They did not just leave them static; they kept them going. They were taking them places and doing things with them.

Caring and concerned staff. Clean and well maintained facility, compared to others I've stayed at recently. Food service and entertainment, great.

The facilities at The Waterford on Highland Colony were nice, and the rooms were very nice. They seemed to have a pretty well-rounded activity program. The marketing director was a nice lady, very helpful and informative.

The Waterford On Highland Colony was very nice and newly redone, so it looked really good. The staff was fine and nice. The dining area was very nice and clean. It wasn’t very inexpensive, but it wasn’t too high either. The activities seemed very nice.

I moved my mother into The Waterford On Highland Colony. We're very happy with it. It's affordable, and she likes it a lot. They're very friendly and very helpful. They answered all of my questions and went out of their way to do everything they could. The location and everything are great. The community is very clean. It is newly remodeled with fresh carpet in the rooms. Everywhere has been completely redone, and it is very well maintained. They have new granite countertops, new sinks, new toilets, and new showers. They're very good. The dining area is nice, clean, and very airy. The windows are open. It smells good and clean. The food and wait staff are good.

The Waterford was a nice facility, but it was a little bit more expensive than my dad was in a position to afford. The only room that was available for showing was a studio apartment, and it was very small. The staff is very considerate, friendly, and very nice. We looked at the menu, and it wasn’t bad. They mentioned several different activities like a game room as far as playing cards or checkers, and chess. They did mention a bible study. They mentioned they had a birthday party for any of the residents who had birthdays that month.

The Waterford on Highland Colony is gorgeous. It's in a green space with forest. They have a lake there and benches out beside the lake. The rooms were pretty small, but they were larger than the other place we visited, and they were updated. It's all central air. They will paint them any color that you want. They wanted me to be on the first floor because I have a dog, but I can't afford $2000 a month. They have a party once a week, and they serve wine and hard liquor with a live band. It's a very elegant place like someone's home, and it has a gorgeous library.

The Waterford was a beautiful property, but it was lacking the homey feel, and I know a lot of these elderly people are lonely. Waterford just struck me as kind of a lonesome place. It is independent living, but I just didn't get the warm feel. It was more beautiful, more modern, and more of my personal style, but I didn't get a warm feel for that time in your life or you might be lonely. They were helpful. It just seemed like it needed a warmer feel; it is hard to explain it.

We are looking into The Waterford. It was great, there were lovely people there, and the residents were really nice. We really liked the whole facility. They had cards and different things set up for different weeks. They serve three meals a day. There were several different rooms that we looked at and several different sizes. My sister said the food is fantastic.

My mother lives at The Waterford. I would give it 5 stars but the 5th star wont let me click on it. The staff is wonderful, the food is great, residents are friendly. They go over and above in everything to make sure great for her and for all the residents. You owe it to yourself and to your family to check out The Waterford before going anywhere else. You become part of a family and part of a community when you move here. I cant recommend it highly enough! We have been beyond pleased!
