My husband is in Forest Hill Nursing Center. He has Alzheimer's. The people I've talked to have been very helpful.

The staff at Forest Hill Nursing Center appears to be caring and they seemed to do a good job, but you need to work with the staff to make sure they recognize your needs. My mom is a semi-private room and they are doing a good job of keeping the rooms clean. They allow their residents to bring things and make the place a little bit homey for them. The rooms are really nice. They keep the temperature adequate. They do also have activities and they bring the residents for meals together. They try to make sure that their staff is checking their patients every two hours and make sure they are always clean and fresh, but during meal time when someone wants to go to the bathroom, nobody would be there to accompany the patient to the bathroom and I didn't like that because my mom is very, very important to me and I would not like it very much especially because I live away from the place. I had to depend on them to take care of her.
