MY father was a resident of this facility....while there he suffered a broken arm, dehydration subsequently died....A jury found this nursing home GUILTY of causing the death of my father....I would never recommend this facility.

The staff was very nice and appropriate. They treated all patients with care. The facility itself needs some more upkeep or renovations. Upon walking in the entrance, you can readily identify that Arnold Avenue Nursing home has been around for quite some time in the town of Greenville. The smell of cleaning supplies and elderly patients is apparent. The part of town the nursing home is located is near the hospital and backs up to a service station. I could imagine outside activities is very limited for patients. The area is also known to locals as a somewhat dangerous area for criminal activity. It is my opinion that relocating the nursing home to another area would be ideal. Other than renovations and locations, the nursing home is ideal for patients as far as care and general hopitality is concerned. Overall, i felt comforatable that my family members were staying at this nursing home. I would recommend it to a friend or other family member.
