My sister moved into Garden Villas North, and I think she's doing very well. The personnel is very helpful and friendly. The person administrator, Patty, helped get us started, and I think my sister kind of fell for her hospitality too because it's so open and friendly. There's no overcrowding, there's plenty of space. It's very colorful. The personnel is fantastic and it's what my sister wanted when she was asking for a place. She wanted a little balcony and that's what we found. She wanted a little area where she could do some little cooking in the kitchen, and have her own bathroom. All those things that she asked us to try to find for her were in this place. Everyone is friendly. She has the kind of service that she needs for people to tend to her needs. This is a very welcoming place to be. There's plenty of room in her area. They have a little pool area. They have activities for exercise, for those who are in a ministry that wants to have prayer or some kind of religious activities. My sister loves the meals. They have a setting to make you feel important to make you feel like you're welcome to eat. New utensils and everything, and even if she chooses not to eat in a wide-open space with other people, she could eat in the privacy of her own room and they'll bring it up to her with the same hospitality, the knives and napkins, and utensils.

Garden Villas North was very nice but it did not offer the highest level of assisted living care that we were looking for. Larger rooms, beautiful views; the cleanliness was good. They did seem to be very good.
