My father was familiar with Garden Villas North because his wife was at the nursing home there, and he had a couple of guy friends that also had wives over there. The rooms were nice and well set up and would fit his stuff. I think somebody was moving out, so it was not furnished when we went in. They were like in transition, but it was a functional space for him. The grounds were nice. Unfortunately, the entire area was like surrounded by a parking lot, but there were trees beyond. The insides were nice, very bright, and cheery. We did have lunch there that was good. My father saw one of the guys when we were eating come in from one of their day trips, and talked to him for a little bit. They have a happy hour every afternoon. Dad likes that because he's a social guy. They were doing a little bit of updating and I think they were adding on an area. They were kind of shutting down one area to accommodate some priests, but that was all under construction while we were there. We didn't get to see any of that.

The main reason I chose Garden Villas North was location which was near my house. And I love it.

The Garden Villas North is a retirement community that is adjacent to the Delmar Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Florissant, Missouri. My sister is currently a patient in Delmar Gardens due to a stroke and the a muscle disease. While visiting my sister, I was impressed with how beautiful the Garden Villas community was. The grounds were impeccable and the Villas looked like a luxury apartment complex where I would love to stay. The first thing I noticed after entering the main entrance was the warm welcome received from the receptionist at the front desk. The lobby was clean and reminded me of a nice hotel instead of an assisted living community. The receptionist was very professional and helpful in answering all the questions I had about the possibility of my sister moving into one of the Villas after she was released from Delmar Gardens. Based on the information I received, I know my sister would love to move into this community. The services Garden Villas North provides is top notch. I HIGHLY recommend this community for anyone searching for a retirement community. Please pay them a visit to see for yourself. You will not be sorry.
