About This Community

Here at Mother of Perpetual Help, we treat older adults just like you would any member of your own family: with unconditional care, support, and kindness. We stress the importance of independent living – highlighting consistent advocacy for self-determination – combined with an attentive dose of respectful assistance. After all, your family is a part of our family.

Assisted living is the perfect scenario for older adults who need some assistance but enjoy their independence. Our communities offer 24/7 care, a social environment brimming with options, and a range of programs and services that provides meals, housekeeping, laundry, and assistance with personal care and medications.

Activities – including exercise classes, lectures, arts and crafts, card games, and parties – plus outings – ranging from shopping and dining to theater and sporting events – are available for our resident’s enjoyment.

Founded under the principles of Jesus Christ, we provide the best possible physical, social, and spiritual care for our residents. These Catholic teachings are the heart of our assisted living communities where plenty of interesting choices await.

We're very happy with Mother of Perpetual Help. My mother is getting good care there. The staff is very friendly. Her room is nice, like a little studio apartment. The food has been very good. The atmosphere is very nice and very friendly. They keep her busy. They have something listed every day such as dominos, crafts, and day trips.

Mother of Perpetual Help was fine. The only reason why I decided against it was that they had 2 small communities because of the way the building was built and the evolution. One had been a convent, so they were separated, and there were only 10 people in each one; I didn’t think that it was good for my friend, specifically. Also, it was extremely quiet. Their prices were good.

The staff at Mother of Perpetual Help was friendly and efficient. They have a TV area, kitchen, room, laundry, and common area. The facility was clean, well-lit, and had nice carpets. It may need a garden. The location is not good as a place because it’s basically a park-dependent area. There’s only a small area for people to walk around. It’s in an enclosed area, and once you get out, you only can move around in a car. A walk in the neighborhood would be nice. It’s a very small area, and everything around it is developed. I don’t know if that can be avoided but it somehow looked ugly to have this parking lot like outside the building instead of a garden, but where else would people park? You usually want to live somewhere where it’s more aesthetic or more bedded with nature or where there are trees; but the parking lot is bigger, and it dominates everything else. The place is also expensive.

My father and step-mother lived at this residence for several years (my father for 7 years, until his natural death). We feel blessed to have had them at such a beautiful, caring place, where the staff is friendly and professional. I would highly recommend MOPH.
