About This Community

The Friendship Village campus in Chesterfield has been here for 45+ years. We've stood as a quality example of senior care - in all levels of care - for decades. Our caregivers have some of the longest tenures in the industry, and we use no agency nursing staff.

Our Assisted Living offering currently exists in a brand new, state-of-the-art Assisted Living and Memory Care building that opened in October of 2020. We have 60 brand new units featuring studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. We are a locally owned and -operated not-for-profit enterprise, and our long-standing reputation for quality is second to none.

It's been about two years since I visited Friendship Village Chesterfield, and the layout was very good. It's very attractive housing. I was there for my rehab about three or four years ago after my back surgery. The people that worked in the rehab did an excellent job. They were very caring, and they were all very, very nice and helpful. The food was terrific. I was looking for independent living and a total life care experience.

My parents are going to be moving into Friendship Village Chesterfield. I like the Lifecare Plan, where the monthly rate does not increase as they go up in different levels. They were very friendly, they answered all my questions very well, and I felt that the residents seemed happy, too. It just seemed like a very pleasant place. They have redone the skilled nursing and the assisted living, they have a new independent living, and there are lots of facilities, too. Also, they're offering discounts for the entrance fees and waiving different fees, so we felt it was more affordable for what you're getting. It's close to family, which is one of the reasons why we chose it. They have a good reputation in the community, too. I think it's in a good location, as it is near different stores and shops, and it's a familiar area for my dad and mom, so I think that's helpful. It's under construction a bit, and they're still building the chapel, but I feel like it will be nice once it's all finished.

My mom is in Friendship Village. The room is spacious. It has a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, and a living room. It is much larger and more reasonably priced than anything else I looked at. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. My mom is very comfortable with them. They have a pretty extensive menu. They have a lot of very good activities. She can stay there for the rest of her life because they have a full continuum of care.
