My brother-in-law and his wife are staying in Rolla Presbyterian Manor, and they were both very happy being there. It's a wonderful community and it's just a perfect place for them. They're helpful and great people. They have a courtyard where they can go outside and sit. It's very beautiful and it's clean. Having had other relatives there before, I became familiar with the food actually, and it's very good. My brother-in-law is very happy with it too. He said they feed them all the time.

My mom, who is 81, has lived at the Rolla Presbyterian Manor for close to 7 years. After my dad died, my mom had several medical problems and the house they had owned was too much for her. We looked at several assisted living facilities but the Presbyterian Manor was the only one that seemed to fit what my mom was looking for and what she needed. The Presbyterian Manor has different levels of living situations that they offer. They have two bedroom apartments for people who don't require much assistance, one bedroom apartments for those who need a little more help and then smaller rooms for folks who need complete care. One of the pluses is that you can move up and down as needed. If you have a sudden health problem you can move into a room that is monitored constantly by the nursing staff and when you get better you can move back into your own apartment. My mom has only needed to do that once but it was a godsend that they were set up to that kind of thing. The staff there have been nothing short of wonderful. The nurses are caring and will answer questions, they aren't snobby or mean at all. The drivers who take my mom to her appointments are great people, my mom really dotes on two of them. My mom really likes living at the Presbyterian Manor and I think that her living there has made her life longer. I know that living there has made her life happier than if she had to stay at home or in some other assisted living center. The only reason that I didn't give the Manor five stars is that it is expensive. If the prices were a little lower I would say the Manor was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone as long as they have the money to stay.
