This place is rotten it's filthy the staff is very unprofessional it takes them over 30 minutes to come to a room and the food is horrible they feed them like they're feeding toddlers and they feed them small amount of food except for the carrots they feed them a plateful every single day just a horrible place to be I would not recommend taking your love and then a male housekeeper came and took my boyfriend's urine dumped it and my boyfriend asked him if he could get him some ice water the gentleman did not wash his hands he grabbed my boyfriend's container went to the ice machine filled it up and put water in it with the same nasty gloves on and my boyfriend told him he did not want that water the guy got mad at him because my boyfriend told him he didn't wash his hands after touching his urine

Redwood of Kansas City was referred to us, and mom is in there. It's been good, the staff seem very competent, cooperative, friendly, and responsive. She hasn't shared any complaints about the food, they're under lockdown due to COVID, so none of us have been able to see her face-to-face, except from her window, and I talk to her on Facetime. My brother said the outside is very nice.

This place is ATROCIOUS. Quality of care is below poor, the facility is old, rooms are tiny and it's dirty. There are too many options that are better. You know it's bad when the staff is telling you they wouldn't put their loved one there. GO ELSEWHERE.

I visited this nursing home on October 23. When I walked into the building, there was no one to assist me at the front desk. I finally found my mother in laws room and she was hanging half way off the bed. It took 20 minutes for someone to come and help her. Mind you, she is paralyzed and has dementia. The place was dirty and smelled terrible. This place should be closed.

To me, Holmesdale didn’t seem very clean, and it was pretty old. It seemed to be an older nursing home that’s probably been around for a long time. The rooms were really small, too. They're even smaller than the one my grandmother is in now. I know they had a physical therapy room there, and I’m sure they do movies and had something like a TV room. Other than that, I didn’t see a whole lot of activities like card games or anything like that.
