We visited Close to Paradise Senior Care, and I'm very impressed with the person in charge, it's just that I don't think it would have met my dad's needs. There's a communal bathroom, it's very, very intimate, I don't think my dad would be comfortable there. I might go there and stay; it's very good. The rooms were light, they were very light driven, well laid out. This is a former apartment house, and that was definitely a plus, because apartments are structured for either a couple or even a family to live there. It was very good in that regard. Everyone was friendly and first impressions were very good. It's family run with one CNA, the woman who I spoke to was very good, and very gracious. If anybody stays there, they'll be in good hands. It was very clean and very inviting.

Close to Paradise is a lovely care home for seniors of all ages. They offer compassionate care in a home like setting, safe and quiet environment. Staff is very caring and knowledgeable. One could not ask for more when it comes to finding care for their loved one.

The people at Close to Paradise are very kind and give lots of one on one attention. The place is quiet, peaceful, and clean. They have very good care for the stage that my mother is in, which is middle to late Alzheimer's. It's a group home so it feels quite, friendly, and warm, not institutional. My mother gets whatever she likes and they feed her. The staff is very attentive and communicates clearly and well, which I appreciate. My mother liked them right away, which is good. The facilities are excellent, clean, and nice. My mother has her own room. There's a nice yard and a screened-in porch. Because it's a small home though, there isn't much to do. They do have somebody come in to do music therapy, hair, and nails.

My husband has been in this facility /home for the past 2 months. I had been taking care of him for the past 15 years, so it was a very hard decision to place him into care. I searched many places and knew immediately this was the right place for him. My husband is heavy needs, and requires help with everything. Not only do they take excellent care of him, but he is in a home like atmosphere. The people there are compassionate and caring and have made this difficult experience so much easier. Highly recommend.

I took a tour at Close to Paradise. I liked the fact that it's a residential home and not a big facility. The gal that we talked to was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. The room that we looked at was a private room with a shared bathroom. The only thing I saw that I didn’t like about it was that it had an actual bath tub where he would have to lift his legs up to get into it.

I have visited this place and it's amazing!!! Our parents are not ready to move in yet but we can't wait! By far the best I have seen around Springfield! Great people, beautiful home. We were very impressed!
