My mom was at Barnes-Jewish Extended Care. Almost all the staff, except for one person, were wonderful. The care was excellent, and they were very attentive.
It was very expensive and was $610 per night, which was unbelievable.
Because of COVID, they weren't using the various rooms. There's a special dining room if you wanted to invite other family members over for the evening and they had kind of a group room with a lot of windows and a fireplace and a TV, and my mom wasn't able to do any of that. Her room was fairly nice, though. It's an older place, but it was nice.

A fine facility with quality care for rehabilitation and extended care. Good communication and access to professional staff. Still, family members/caregivers must be proactive to ensure highest level of medical care and quality of living.
