Heritage Village of Gladstone was a little disappointing even though I knew the person that was in charge of admissions. The staff was very friendly. I just thought it was a little rundown and a little tired looking. It was not quite as good as it could've been for what they were charging. They had a couple of small rooms for puzzles and they would have musicians come in and the typical things that they would have with an assisted living type place. There weren't very many amenities. It was a smaller place. They have a bus to get you to the store or to your doctor or just to take you around. I looked at the menu that they had for the day and they only had one choice for lunch and dinner.

We went to Heritage Village of Gladstone. It was older, and the rooms that were available were not quite as big, bright, or open as the other place I visited.

My father lived here for six months when he could no longer live alone. The staff treated him so kindly and made the transition smoothly. I am thankful for the friendship they showed my father during his last few months.

The Heritage Village of Gladstone is where my dad is. He eats well -- 3 meals a day -- and he is enjoying it. I think it is pretty nice for the price and everything. They are very helpful. He has a roommate, and they get along really well. The room is OK, and he has everything that he needs. They have a little game room down the stairs, but there is not a lot of amenities. The staff is nice. I am just glad he likes it, and he is happy, but as far as I could see, everything is OK. I think they need a little more activities.

Heritage Village of Gladstone was okay. It seemed to be comfortable, but much of the place was really dark inside. It felt kind of closed in. There was a nice little dining room, a nice game room, and a TV room with big couches in it. The residents did arts and crafts. The facility had a barber shop and a beauty salon. The residents also play bingo and some other games.

We went to Heritage Village of Gladstone and it felt more like a nursing home. They have tiny rooms. There is no room for a dresser. When you walk in their lobby, it’s very classy. It was very nice. I saw that everybody seemed much older than my brother so that for us it would not be a good fit for my brother.

We visited the Heritage Village of Gladstone Senior Living assisted living facility while searching for a place for our aunt to live calmly. It was clear from the moment we got there that this was a really luxuriously designed living environment for seniors. The facility is neat and tidy with lush green lawns. Seniors can use the exercise room at any time and also go on daily walks. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered, and many of the residents choose to get their exercise outdoors by walking around the grounds. The staff really tries to make physical activity interesting to encourage participation. The dining room has windows all around and pleasant views; all food is made onsite, and residents can choose among several options. There is also a different soup featured daily. The residents here looked very content in this well designed living environment and appeared well cared by respectful staff. All in all, I believe it is a great place to live. The price is perfect for my family and my aunt and we are all very pleased with the facility.
