My grandmother is moving in. I've been there about four times now. It offered all the care that she needed. It wasn't a large floor plan of the whole building, but it was still something that she would be able to get around fairly easily. It had the community space with the TV, it had a piano, and it also had a community kitchen. If we were to have big parties and cook for a bigger crowd, we could in their bigger kitchen. It just had everything that my grandma needed. Everyone was really friendly. The main director that I was speaking with was Amanda. She's a super friendly person as well. She was good at explaining everything. My grandmother and I have seen the food and everything looked appetizing. They pay all utilities. They offer this pendant program instead of the pull cords, and if they were to fall or anything like that, they don't have to be near a pull cord in order to get help. They also offer transportation to her local doctors' offices. It seemed like she likes it.

It has been excellent. The people are really responsive, they come around breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bedtime. They really take care of my mom a lot. They're really good, I couldn't ask for a better place. It's a nice place with good food, and we like the layout because it's all one level; it's a smaller place. We went to a couple of other places where it's four stories or two stories, and this one is just simpler. You can't get lost in it. She's getting along really well there. They have a beauty shop and they did her hair last week. I've been there for a couple of meals with her and all the meals were excellent. She doesn't have a problem with them. On Fridays they have live music. There was a guy who played old-time music and all the other ladies were singing. My mom sat down with them. They have exercises every day too. The staff is really good, everybody there, actually. From the person that brought us in there and showed us around, to the nurse practitioner, to the RNs on duty. They're all just really nice and helping out any way they can. It's been a good move for us. The facility is clean as can be all the time, both inside and outside. They give her a list every morning of the activities they will do. I don't know whether she went out for exercise, but they do have a lot of different activities. It's all on the list, they're really organized like that.

Our dad has been a resident for more than four years. Every evening the nurse Tanya goes in to dads apartment and rubs his feet to help with circulation. Tanya's kind and compassionate care these past 6 months has made all the difference in our dads quality of life! Thank you Tanya!

My sister and brother-in-law moved to assisted living at Addington Place in July 2019. My brother-in-law is still in assisted living and my sister is in memory care. I feel blessed that we found Addington Place. My family is well cared for and loved. My brother-in-law is having difficulty with my sister being in memory care. Everyone has tried to help and understand him even when he doesn’t make the best decisions. The staff and administration are wonderful in their care for both. They have helped me as a care giver make sound decisions to help both my sister and brother-in-law. I would recommend Addington Place to anyone.

It was nice. The rooms were great, the staff was nice and very helpful, and the people who walked us through were good. The room I saw there was like a little studio apartment, there's not much too it. It's got a bedroom which was small, but they don't really need that much in their lives, so they're adequate in size and clean. The whole place is clean and bright, and well lit; it was fine. They don't have a lot of amenities but what's nice is that they have common areas. Their dining area is just tables and chairs, nothing fancy about it and the people I talked to said the food is good although I didn't eat there. It looks like they have something going on for the residents all the time, at least every day there's something going on. I saw their activities schedule, too. The place is brand-new so its nice.

I chose it for my parents, and they’ve been there for about six weeks now. It’s a beautiful facility, and they get really good care. All of the staff knew my parents and were very friendly to me. I get phone calls if there are any problems. I like them very much. I have eaten there quite a few times, and the food is very good. They have lot of activities throughout the day as well as shopping trips.
