My husband is a resident of The Bluffs. They're very kind and caring. He's pretty difficult to deal with sometimes, and they do a good job. It's very nice, and they have a very nice outside area. It's pleasant to look at. The food is a five, but the service on weekends, they must be short on help, it's pretty late. They have a large area where they serve food; it's very good. They need more help, but with Covid, for nursing homes, it's really hard to find help. It's been very good so far. I am very satisfied.

My friend was at The Bluffs and then she passed away there. She was just in this place because she couldn't live on her own anymore, and so she lived there. It was very attractive. It was really very beautiful on the outside, and really attractive on the inside. In the main area, it was very homey. The private rooms were more hospital-like, so people could bring their own things to make the room personal. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, except when I checked in they were very friendly, and helpful, and when looking for her room, I got lost, and they were very helpful. The condition of the place was very nice. It's newer so it was in very good shape. Cleanliness was very good. They had a recreation room with some fish tanks. They had a piano in the lobby area.

My mom is at The Bluffs in Columbia. I just visited her because this week they finally opened up for visits again. I wasn't really able to visit her wing because they have a specific place just for the visits. I think this is a temporary thing. They also have a lot of Zoom calls, which is kind of nice, because even if you couldn't go in, you still get to see how they're doing.
The staff is friendly and positive. They offer more of a nursing home care. She came there with two broken bones, and I think she's still in a wheelchair because it's easier for them to transport her that way. She's also getting physical therapy.

My mom went into The Bluffs. It is all pretty good. The staff members are good. The food looks good, too. The dining area is clean, and the room is fine. They have live music, church services, TV programs, bingo, and crafts. They have many activities. My impression of this place is good. It is expensive though.

My mother in law is at the Bluffs, shes not very happy that the meals she receive are cold, but when she was in a different wing the staff were great. When she moved to a different room, the staff was kind of rough when they helped her. They dont have activities for her. In the beginning they were great, and I would give a 4, but now theyre a 2. Her room is okay, and its kept clean.

Rooms are never clean-floors and bathrooms never cleaned. CNA’s and Nurses never do the job and are full of excuses ie meds are never followed up on correctly and always an excuse to the job or be available on the hallway at all times. Food service is Poor as they do not know how to handle patients needs or diagnosis. Stay close to your family member in this facility and demand the work and availability be there with your loved one either if Medicare pays or LTC-Long Term Care. The state needs to be checking all rugs in this facility serving the Public.

My Mother is there. She loves the people there and calls it home. It is the Country Club of Nursing homes in our town.
