I have been very impressed with the care that my mother has received since she has lived at Butterfield. Her exact words were "what is not to like about it?" She loves it that she has her own space, someone cooks for her and cleans her room. She said everyone is always so kind to her. She doesn't miss living having to do everything for herself. She was glad she didn't have to drive, go buy groceries, and was dreading the winter months. She loves the peacocks that visit her. Butterfield allows me to not worry...we are glad we made the decision!

The facility is very clean and very well care for. It is situated right next to the park and has amazing views. My favorite thing is that the residents halls are split depending on their need for support. The staff is very friendly, with exception of one mean night nurse. The instances of bed sores was high, but not on my grandmothers hall. I especially love that they have a hair stylist come and do my grandmas hair once a week. With the going to the cafeteria on her own and the stylist, she feels her own sense of independence.
