I read reviews but a coworker told me her father liked it. From the start, we had issues. Medications were incorrect and they blamed the hospital. Upon further review, after I had to complain repeatedly, a nurse found several errors their facility made. The hospital medication list was correct. Majority of the staff had bad attitudes. Of course there were a few good ones. My husband complained that his hand hurt. It was broken and he had a cast. He was looked at by a nurse and the doctor and neither noticed that the cast had cut 1/2" into his thumb After I found it, my only option was to take him to urgent care or wait until Monday when they called the doctor and could work it into their transportation schedule. Are you kidding me? I had to take him to the urgent care to have the cast removed and they were shocked at how bad it was. When given medication, a nurse was rude that he asked for water to take it. Today he asked for help with his shoe since he had no shoehorn. He as told he would have to wait as they had 16 other patients to take care of. He was still waiting several hours later until I called them. How long does that take? Patients have to ask for everything- pain pills, water, shower. They missed his day for a shower so I had to give it. He is leaving and will not go back. His PT is also a joke. He was given 20 minutes of PT because it was the weekend which consisted of walking to the door and back 3 times with breaks of which he didn't need or want. We are visiting other places for long term residency. Do not place a family member in this facility. He was in the new part where patients don't require as much assistance and this is what he got. I cannot imagine a family member that can't fight for what they need.
