My grandmother is staying at Golden Livingcenter Rochester East for short-term only. She's there for memory care, and she's really happy. They treat her so well, and they gave her, her own room. We've been very happy and pleased with it. There's great communication among the staff members. They helped us with little things. We almost forgot her coat one time and they went back and got it for us. They make it feel like a home even though the setting is hospital like. My experiences have all been very positive with them. It's always clean when I'm there. We're very satisfied.

The facility has a great activities department that provides various activities for its residents as well as meets individually with residents to have 1 to 1 time to ensure their social needs are being met. The facility also has a great dietary department that prides itself in providing choice for its residents as well as meeting their special dietary needs. The administrator has made great improvements and continues to do so with the facility regarding its staff and resident care. From my observations, she prides herself in customer service and ensuring every resident has their needs met. This is also true for other staff that work in the facility. They are very proud of their building.

Short staffed. Long waits for a nurse when call lights are pushed. Very out dated! Very under staffed! Staff has no communication between shifts!
