We toured Sunrise of Roseville. It seemed not as open as the other place was. There wasn't really too much natural light coming in and it was on the third floor, so there was no way for anybody to easily go outside. You have to go down an elevator to get outside, but safety seemed fine. I don't think there are any issues there.

We toured Sunrise of Roseville. Very, very friendly staff. And it was a nice facility. The rooms were nice, the eating area was very pretty. They offer you their studio, or one-bedroom apartments that we looked at, they may have more, and they were very well kept up and clean. They have snacks and coffee available for those people that they can just help themselves to. They also make homemade cookies every day. They have a lot of choices of different rooms people can go to socialize. It appeared to be very well kept up, we didn't see anything that was lacking. They were probably the friendliest and most cheerful people that we saw on any tour.

My husband moved into Sunrise of Roseville. It is a beautiful place and is in a secluded area. It is a total memory care place. It is either assisted living memory care or nursing memory care where my husband is. The staff is wonderful. People call me every day to update me about his care. I am finding that whoever I talked to is exceptionally helpful. If the maintenance man is needed for something or help pick somebody up the floor, he comes and helps. They are all trained caregivers. It does not matter if they are serving food or cleaning or whatever, they are all trained to care for someone if needed. I am very pleased. He has been there just a week, but I think I made a really good choice.
The third floor is where my husband is. They have a beautiful wide and open dining room, and it is all windows. One sitting area is with a fireplace with the couches, and they have another sitting area with a TV and activities. It is very open and well-lit. It has windows all around. My husband has a huge window in his room, which looks out into the grounds. He is very weak, so he has not been doing any activities. He came right from the hospital. They are doing physical therapy now to help him be more stable on his feet. With Covid, I do not know how they are doing activities quite frankly. It is expensive though.

Rental of beds is an important coordination with insurance and the facility. Do not assume a bed is provided.
Staff respectfully addressed medication questions and we're extremely patient.

I had a crisis situation last December where I needed to find immediate memory care accommodations for both my aunt and uncle. Sunrise of Roseville MN was extremely responsive and was able to admit them to a beautiful, sunny shared apartment.
My relatives are still “with it” enough to speak to me about the care they’re receiving, and—except for the inconsistent food quality during COVID—they have zero complaints. The caregivers and kind and helpful. The nursing staff has been there for a long time, which in an industry of high turnover really says something about the organization. And the current executive director has been outstanding with her regular communication about what’s happening during COVID, and has protected residents from any outbreaks.
I hardly ever leave reviews … but I’ve been talking so much to friends and family about how lucky I feel to have my relatives at Sunrise of Roseville (especially during the pandemic), I thought I should share my experience widely.

We chose Sunrise of Roseville for my mother. We love it and its been really good so far. Its really nice, the people have been nice, and my mom seems happy. The staff has been very good, we have had no problems, and theyre good at communicating. I think theyre good to her and I like them. Her room is very nice, weve personalize it a lot for her, but I think it looks really nice. She seems to like the food. Shes in the memory care unit. The dining area is set up like in a home, and theres always fresh flowers on the table, which she likes. They have several different programs, theres singing, flower arrangements, they have movies, and sometimes performers come in. She also has a chaplain that comes to visit. I would recommend it. So far we really like it.
