We saw The Pillars of Highland Park. The director, Margie, who showed us around was exceptional. She came in on her day off to give us the tour because it was the only day that we were in town. Just incredible. They have a Catholic chapel there. I didn't think the facility was as bright and the hallways were a little dark for me. It was darker wood, darker carpeting, and that needs to lighten up a little. It was a much smaller setting which can have its pluses and negatives. But they had one dining room where you would come down, so assisted living and independent living all come to one dining room. The exercise room was almost nonexistent. It was hardly what you could call an exercise room, so they didn't have that. It is a pretty simple place, and I liked the rooms. The rooms were big and nice, and they had their own little deck. I like that.
