My mother was a resident for over 2 years. She started falling and we received a call that she needed to see a Dr. When we went to pick her up she was not welcome to return. It was a very traumatic time for mother and our family. Even social workers could not find a placement for 3 days.

My experience with the local Edgewood Vista nursing home has been overall a good experience. I have a parent that lives there and has been there for about two years now and they really enjoy the facility. With all of the activities that go on there really is a lot of excitement even at my mothers age. The food at the site is actually pretty good, and every time I visit there are always coffee and donuts waiting for me at the door. The conditions of the rooms are really nice, and the employees at the nursing home really care about everyone that lives there I have noticed. One thing that my mother really enjoys is the bingo they play every Wednesday afternoon, as she has met new people to share stories and talk with. For any people looking for a really well kept building and an excellent staff I definitely would recommend this nursing home, as it really has made my mother happy.
